My local TRU is only now getting the wave 1 singles. Up until now, they have only had Easter Fluttershy, the ponyville-sized singles, the hat box with the molded haired ponies, and styling AJ, Rarity, and Pinkie.
Zellers is pretty hit or miss. Some never restock (like the one closest to me), while others restock frequently (like the one at Square One). Generally, the cleaner and more organized the Zellers, the more likely they are to carry a good stock of ponies (or anything else). I find most Zellers to be unbearable, personally. As soon as I enter a Zellers, I can TASTE the dust when I breathe.... but that is off topic. My point is, if you are going to try Zellers, go to the cleaner ones and don't bother with the disgusting health hazards.
I still haven't found any! I WAS going to go searching for the new gals today, but yesterday I got a call from the dentist informing me that they made an appointment for today to get a tooth pulled. Tomorrow, I will call around, see what Walmart in my area has recently restocked ponies and perhaps go out.
Excited that people have found Dewdrop Dazzle. Her and Blossomforth are my favourites (while Dewdrop and Lulu are my daughter's). First thing is first, my daughter is getting ponies. I will buy my own later, I am only a modest collector. I love the ponies and must have certain ones, but my daughter is the one with the uncontrollable obsession with them. Takes good care of them for a 4 year old, too. If they ever get any little speck of dirt or smudge, she has me clean it up immediately. If the hair knots, she has me brush it (to make sure it is done gently, she doesn't want to ruin their hair).
OH... has anybody seen the styling Fluttershy? What wave is she? I MUST have her. Glad that Hasbro is doing it right this time, though! Having a core-group is good for marketing and general merchandise, but additional ponies are a must
