Hey has anyone else been finding G4 ponies in 2nd Hand, or Thrift Stores, Flea Markets etc? Recently I found a large not-brushable Celestia, Brushable Twilight and Rarity, McDonalds Rarity, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash!

I think that maybe it should be at least a year before they star showing up there...? Or has everything changed so much that most kids just dont care anymore...? D:

I just find it strange! Who have you found out there???

I have found all the G4 mcDs ponies, and a brushable Rarity.
I did think it a bit strange that people are getting rid of such new toys...

Maybe they were donated by rich families or the kids didn't like them.

Yeah I've been finding G4's in thrift stores too, I just assume the kids don't like them.

I've seen bangs twilight, and most of the maccas toys at the markets.. and in pretty rough shape too - it makes me so sad!

I found a brushable fluttershy at a flea market :dog_dance: & A LOT of mcdonalds ponies.

I have found a few G4s in thrift stores, though not many... HOWEVER, I did find a FS Applejack and FS Pinkie Pie in one bag for like $2.99. Applejack has her saddle and Pinkie Pie has her skirt and one shoe. I also got the 2011 FS Celestia (the glittery cutie mark one) at a flea market for $3.

I found a brushable pinkie pie in a ziploc bag with her comb and stuff at thrift store once. It just seems so strange to find a brand new toy like that. When I was a kid you had to force me to give up anything ;) Sometimes I would give some of my older toys to thrift stores, but never a new one like that.

I found the pink talking Princess Celestia doll at a local Goodwill... her hair is a mess, not cut - but her batteries were gone, the entire necklace that hides the chest compartment is missing... she looks in pretty decent shape next to my mint out-of-box version, except for that... and that's a $20 today just thrown to Goodwill where I bought it for something like $1.

Ugh. My parents would've tanned my hide if I took a $20 toy and discarded it so soon (and I found this while pink Celestia was still on shelves, before Cadence and white Celestia came out!)

I found a brushable Pinkie Pie recently... still had the plastic on her hair and all. Kind of nice. :) I'm not a Pinkie Pie collector by any stretch, but I have seemed to have found her the most (variations, generations, sizes) at this one thrift store I frequent. Odd.

I think its really sad to find G4s in charity shops so soon after their release. It obviously means that children either dont like them, or have so much stuff they dont value what they have and toys are more ephemeral, throw away items these days. What a consumerist society we live in :(

I havent seen any G4s yet in the UK charity shops, pr any 3.5s for that matter.

Wow! I've never found any G4s in any thrift stores by me. That's so strange that any kid would discard such new toys, I know I would never have given up anything so new when I was a kid!

If anyone wants to find a new home for these roughed-up G4s, I'd love to buy them from you! :) Always looking to give new hairdoes to baity ponies! I haven't managed to find ANY G4s in thrift stores, so it's nice to hear that they're around, at least! (But it is a little strange to see them so early ... oh well, ponies have been out for a year or so, at this point!)

Boyfriend found a few at a local Salvation Army (including a snowcatcher). The fluttershy he picked up had a custom hair do and it's not pretty but I am saving it so when I try to make my first custom I don't feel so bad cutting the hair off lol.

Maybe the kids didn't want to throw them away but had parents that had the rule of if it's on the floor after I told you to pick it up x amount of times its going to salvation army. Lol

I've never seen any Ponies in Thrift stores. Let alone the latest line.

Better start checking.

Mostly the McDonalds' G4 ones. Like 3 2011 Fluttershys and one pink Princess Celestia. Never came across any playful ponies, fashion styles, etc... bet they would be cheap too...
