Hi there :)
So I got gem blossom, and...found a couple flaws that I am not a fan of :surprisepony:
I have never seen a pony with her magnetic hoof misplaced! Does this mean that the previous owner took her magnetic hoof out, or that it might be some type of factory error?
And plus her washer seems to be inside her body, since when I shake her I hear something inside, however it really doesn't seem like she has been opened neither had her tail re-haired... Any ideas?

It looks like the backwards magnet could have been a factory error (it looks firmly glued in to me), but I'm not 100% sure. As for the rattle, sometimes the washer falls off the tail without the pony being opened. Hope that helps :)

It definatly did Angel_Foil, thank you :satisfied:
Yeah, now that I think about it, I can see the washer coming out with a couple stretches from kids or something along those lines :bonk:
And I have just squeezed her leg and the magnet doesn't pop out or anything, so it really might be a factory error :) YAAY

Really?
But new like, in her box? It must look like a hole in her hoof :frown:
Can you attach a pic pwease? Never heard/seen it

Uhh, so I found an answer to your problemo :D
Your pony does not have any factory error! :)
I found a thread here that explains that the last made scented ponies are really just made that way without the magnet :D link:http://www.mlptp.net/forums/mlp-discussion/30535-new-ponies-lacking-hoof-magnets.html
And if your pony really had a factory error where she wouldn't have a magnet she'd look like this I guess, and not have any My Little Pony stamp, wich your has :D

Gosh, I feel like Sherlock Holmes disclosing a crime eheheh:LOL:
sorry if the link ain't properly inserted:oops: kinda new in this stuff

Indeed!
For some reason in the last g3 ponies to be made (released in 2007), Hasbro stoped the magnetic hoofs :)

If you're not fond of that factory error, many collectors are interested in buying unique ponies!

Oh noo
I love her and the peculiar ponies in general :D
The thing is; I was trying to disclose if she is legit peculiar or some-kid-just-took-it-out-and-momma-glued-it-backwards type cenario
Have you heard of any factory error like this?

Pineapple: Yeah, that looks like one of the later G3s that were made sans-magnet. I've a few of those myself--I think they might have been made to go with some clothing accessory set? The ones that don't have magnets have a different symbol on the hoof as well (a hanger with a heart instead of just a heart).

I just want to add that most of the ponies without magnets have nothing on their hooves. The ponies with the hangers on their hooves are in the core pose and it means they can wear the plastic clothes that were released.

Ah, thank you! I'm not entirely familiar with the magnet-less ponies.

I am not sure what you mean by Gem Blossom's hoof magnet being wrong? Her hoof heart/magnet is supposed to be on the DS front leg...so am I just missing something?

The later ponies from the g3 line were made without magnets. It was a potential swallowing hazard for kids as magnets can cause perforations in your intestines. Anyways, Paradise Island is not supposed to have a magnet.

There are some instances early on where there were misplaced hoof hearts/magnets, but it was in the first wave of ponies and not very long before they fixed it.

Hey, great post, really summed it up :smilepony:
My Gem Blossom has her magnet upside-down, and what I am willing to disclose is if it was in fact a factory error or what :surprisepony: since I have never heard/seen a pony like this
Take a look at the pics and tell me what you think

Ahh now I see it thanks! :) Yes that is a factory error. It did seem that there are a few ponies that had factory errors. I have a Boogie Woogie on a Hula Lula card, and I had a pony whose cutie mark was painted on their flank and not their hip. It is not a common occurrence, but you can find them occasionally :)

Thank you soo much :satisfied:
She is my first 'factory error' pony in my collection so far :)
And I guess I kinda love her even more for that, and mainly because that was a surprise
