EDIT: She's for sale! Gila Monster Pony for sale on ebay
My second custom ever is finished! May I just say that rehairing a mane with actual hair as opposed to yarn, as with my first pony (http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w106/LizardbethLulu/mlp-ooak1.jpg) is a PAIN IN THE BUTT! Even with a rehairing tool, it took me an hour and a half or more (I guessed) to do the whole head. Anyone got advice on how to make that process go a little faster?
Anyway, here's my Gila Monster Pony.
She was painted with Warhammer model paints, textured with Gloss Touch 3D paint, and sealed with matte finish mod podge. She's got a hemp necklace with femo flower beads and a wrap around her tail.
She WILL be for sale through eBay. I'll put a thread in the "Want to Sell" forum with a link to that when she's available.
Also, a sneak-peak at my "persona" pony who mostly just needs her mane rehaired (UGH!!) and a couple other random details made.
I don't know how I painted that small on her hip, but somehow it magically turned out not so horrible. Go me.
Projects to come: Blueberry pie pony, Coffee pony, and Octopus mer-pony. I'm excited!!
