Good Morning Sunshine: Cute or Creepy?

We recently got in Good Morning Sunshine at Wal-Mart...but my fiance says I can't have her because she's creepy. He says a Pony shouldn't do things like that (ie. sit up, blink her eyes, etc.). And my best friend said the same thing when I showed her. I don't usually collect the so-softs, but I was going to buy her because I thought she was cute... What are your thoughts?
 
I saw her at TRU, made her talk and quickly stepped away. Yes, I was creaped out. I will only get the So Softs if I find them at the thrift stores. Found two so far!

Let me be the first to say that I think they are cute :) I haven't seen the talking/blinking one yet though. But it can't be worse than the big So Soft Newborns back in the 80's.

And if you like her then buy her. Don't care if everyone else thinks that she is creepy.

I can see why people would think she is creepy but I like her personally. I think she's very sweet. :D
I have seen her everywhere but haven't bought her yet because of her price.
 
I find her very creepy . . . Partly due to her voice ("I lo-ve you Mom-my. Now I'm go-ing to ki-ll you.") but partly because of the loud whirring noise that her mechanical innards make. It's like . . . not ONLY does she have the "creepy little girl in the horror movie" vibe, but she ALSO inspires thoughts of every rogue killer robot in the sci fi genre. ;)

I saw her in Kmart last weekend. I thought she was cute...then I pressed the button. The voice reminded me of that doll from the movie Private Eyes. lol
 
I seen her at wal mart this morning....

she is freakin scary! I like the other baby that made - the one that makes the sounds..but this one with her moving head and blinking eyes....not getting her unless she is on sale for like $10

Nah, those things aren't really creepy unless it comes to life while you sleep! Can you imagine that thing stalking you in your bedroom? "Mo-mmy, I will eat you!" *eyes blink and light up* "Wake up Mo-mmy, I like my feast mo-ving!"

You dig Teddy Ruxpin?! Now there's something scary. j/k.
But seriously, he did freak me out as a kid. And did anyone see his segment on VH1's I Love The '80s? It shows him being assembled...where it's just his creepy mechanical face going down the assembly line... eew... gives me chills just thinking about it...
 
Very disturbing indeed. My first response was.. " Chuckie's pony!"

But I'll get her if she ever sells cheaper...to irritate my mum since she hates my ponies :D
