Halloween Photo Hunt Bloopers

Here's my blooper for Task 2 - I thought I could prevent the smoke from blowing away by protecting it in an overturned fishbowl. I was hoping for a swirly, mystical looking globe, but all I got was a cloudy ball! Grr! I liked the background for this one much more than my final attempt, it looks very mystical and witchy!

Yep here is my photo blooper. I was trying to make candy corn since Finland doesn't have any..Yeah yeah I think I leave the cooking for someone else LOL... Some of them are round since I did get too frustrated to cut them in to triangles...

They do taste good though :p Any bonus points for me with these horrible looking candy corns? ROFLOL :D
 
I went ahead and used the second with him kissing her, since he was a trooper and did a second one with lips on her heh. This was the first one. Thankfully I had my sister with me because she helped me find someone =D

One lady said she had been asked before about doing photo hunts, one about signing someone and another by eating some fruit XD

Yep I found one recipe on website (in Finnish, but this is the original http://www.girlyobsessions.com/2012/10/baking/homemade-candy-corn/ ). First the dough did get too hard and when I tried to color the two pieces I needed to heat them again and in the end I did get three different textures :( one super hard (white), perfect texture (yellow) and loose (orange).. I can't understand how that recipe makers get them so pretty and mine looks like blow out pizza or something :'D.. Also I didn't get that white color :O..
Well now I think I know to mix them more and keep them more heated so they do not get too hard before I have time to mold and cut them.. till next Halloween ;)

@h1m3 You get the Amazing Effort Award! You went above and beyond. I've never thought to actually make candy corn, I always just bought it. I think I might try to make some as well. I don 't really fancy it, but Hank and my aunt do...

I was starting to get worried about this picture as the moon has been no where to be seen......until tonight! My daughter pointed it out to me and within a flash I was camera ready!! I love your moon pic Hun :) reminds me of the scene from E.T when there in their woods :) xx
 
I like the ethereal look to your ghost ponies, bbd. You used netting and hmm... maybe a little stuffing material? It looks really good!
 
I decided to do my ghost challenge at night, because I apparently learned nothing from when I did the moon challenge!!! :p I got a bunch of blurry, out of focus pictures, but hopefully you can tell they are floating! I added a nightlight because I thought it looked cool/eerie in the darkness, but since the ghost-ponies kept spinning mid-air, it kind of creeped me out!! :oops:

In case you can't tell they are ponies, here's some closeup shots - I really liked Rarity's "glamour ghost" look! I imagine her pestering the real ghosts by asking why their cowls aren't cashmere, darling, and where are their ribbons!?

Now look how nicely that little frog was. Stayed in both pics. Whatta nice frog.
 
@Wildshadow I could have used a snail like yours. I forgot my nephew has a big toy snail. That would have been better than the dead broken snail I found.
 
Taking these pics, I realize my front door needs scrubbing. We tend to kick it open with our dirty feet because our hands are always full. Farm life is filthy.

And it's pouring. Our porch is covered, but it's where all the cats shelter, so bribes were passed out. Still we had a 'helpful kitty', this time in my shot. Her name is Tippy Tail Melvin and she was a runty little thing when I got her. Now she's growing up so nicely! She's up for adoption. Anyone want a kitten?
