Question! What would happen if we skipped a step? Are we allowed? I worry about freezing a pony, especially vintage ones :O water expands too, so it might bust the vinyl or trigger plastic break down, etc. I just dont wanna hurt my pony but maybe i can think of a creative fix!

You just won't get any points for the step.

I totally forgot to post my photo for the trick or treat on time ‍ I posted it for fun anyways, but darn it!!! I’m freezing baby suprise, i had to really jam her in there. I’m a little worried it will bend her plastic though. Hopefully she can come out of the ice just fine

If the pony gets distorted by the ice, it's nothing a dip in boiling water won't fix. I've never had that happen, though.


Now that you all have one regular and one bonus step under your belts, moving forward, please try to meet the step parameters as closely as possible. Scoring will be more strict, and skirting the requirements will result in sneaky points.

We have some guests over at my house and I had to act like it was totally normal to be shoving a plastic cup with a pony in it into the freezer LOL I was telling my boyfriend under my breath it’s for the photo contest. God speed Baby Glory!

I put her in last night before bed! I was excited to see she was all frozen this morning.

@Rebeldream, I have 3 in the freezer now. 2 G3 babies and my G1 baby FiFi, she was a little yucky so if figured an ice bath would do her some good. lol

Yet again I didn’t have the right gen for the challenge. I considered using one of my g4 babies/fillies but was a little afraid it might get damaged.
So, Tempest Shadow got the freeze
(Bc I don’t really care about her much ) but she did turn out looking pretty cool in there (pun intended). I was also thinking because of her darker color she’d show through well even if the ice turned out foggy.

Probably not going to get points because my daughter couldn't get the pony all the way in the water but that's ok because my mom had the idea to add Elsa to the pictures and it's super cute lol

Also I can't figure out why all my dang pictures keep uploading sideways.

My photos (iPhone X) upload fine to our desktop, but when I open them in the photo editing software (ArcSoft PhotoStudio 2000) to reduce their size, I have to rotate each photo 270 degrees. Not sure if you have a similar issue.

I should’ve known that using a coffee mug wasn’t a good idea, but I wasn’t thinking when I did it. RIP my Spirit Halloween mug from last season. Guess this means I need a new one.



I also tried using a ziploc bag for Baby LS but that didn’t work either, as her hooves were sticking out the bottom and you couldn’t see her from the top. Ahh, well. Such is science, lol

To be fair I did not steal your idea I just thought it would be funny to add Elsa into my photo and when I came on to post my photo I saw that you also used Elsa in your photo
