Pretty sure my pony room is haunted by something that likes carousels lol

Back in 2022, i had this carousel that you gotta press a button and it moves and makes noise, well, at one point, it was goin off by itself
(i have it on video)
People blamed it on batteries

WELL

My other carousel just went off today and it is a analog music box, no batteries there lol

blame it on the mechanisms i guess ;)
oh and the last time it was wound was on Christmas 2022

I just find it funny that its only been musical carousels that have been effected
cause i have a ferris wheel and many other things that can make noise, but have not made a peep lol

Oh also, my friend was like "wait, didnt that carousel horse you got come from an estate sale?"

lol my carousel horse itself is haunted by its old owner, maybe THATS the pony who is haunted in my room lol

or it can just be my neighbor :p we say anything "ghosty" is him lol

The room next to mine has toys from the home owners grandkids and somewhere in there is a doll that randomly giggles at night.

I do find it comforting that there's usually a logical explanation for paranormal activity. Dying/corroded batteries, sensors set to high, changes in humidity, etc can all set off things with electrical and mechanical parts. One of our old houses had "music" that would play in the basement and scare the bajeebus outta me... I belatedly realized it only happened when the a/c kicked on lol

One of my favorite examples are "zombie" satellites. The batteries corroded in such a way that they are now being powered directly by the solar panels and emit "haunting" signals whenever the sun hits them.

Who you gonna call?

Time to run some red lights and you might need an exorcist Sassy!

My Lost World T.rex started roaring on its own one day without being squished/stomped. I'm honestly tempted to sell it. Oh and my Fingerlings dragon said "Hello!" without me turning it on one day too!

I'm pretty sure we both have poltergeists.

I ask mine to help me with bills or rent once in a while!:rofl:

Maybe the spirits just have a thing for musical carousels, who knows? The battery excuse doesn't fly with the analog one, though.
