*tink*

HMMMM, BUT...he sounds like a girl in the movies...

BRILLIANT. I love it. Well, I guess we were just about due for a G3 scandal to come along. I had a feeling things weren't as perfect as they seemed...

We've discussed this before, but it would appear to be a typo of the most interesting kind. :)

Ooo that's cool though!
But so many typos in the same book?
Are there any movies with Star Catcher or other books?

It happened in the G1 line aswell though - at least here in Denmark - either it was a typo or else it's because of the 'jack' part... I'm not sure.

On Applejack's card he would be refered to as 'he', 'him' etc aswell. Likewise in many books and booklets and so forth.

Later in the movies - Rescue at Midnight Castle springs to mind - Applejack also had a lovely, male voice, but now he was being refered to as 'she' or 'her' He was refered to as a girl in all later appearances, yet he kept his male voice..

I never grew out of the fact that Applejack was a guy and he was too the first pony I got as a kid and I remember keeping the backcard and reading it about a 100 times a day because I loved my Applejack-guy so much! :D
It didn't keep me from dressing him up in the "Flash! Camera! Action" set though, so AJ was a real drag queen during my childhood :p

Poor AJ and Star Catcher though - how are they ever to find their true identity? :p

Uh HO

UH HO

Here we go again

LOL

I remember reading that in my nieces book and being like, wow, what a typo! I had a good laugh at that.

My Applejack was always a boy. So was Buttons and Firefly. And Heart Throb. In fact, most of my pink ponies were boys when I was little.

THERE CANT BE BOY PONIES BECAUSE ONLY GIRLS CAN PLAY WITH MLP RAAR.

That typo is about as awesome as the five-legged Baby Ribbon. I love little mistakes like that!

Re:

Typo? That would be likely if they wrote him just once, but to refer to Star Catcher as a guy through the whole book isn't a typo.

More likely that the author of the book has gotten the whole thing wrong.

Oooh? What's this, now?

And yeah...Star Catcher wouldn't exactly be my first choice for "t3h boy pony"...though if that were the case then...*gasp* All the boy ponies have really ridiculously big wings!!

That's really odd, though o_O; With Applejack, too.

hahahaha catcher is a boy then! :D

Actually...that would put a different sort of spin on Star Catcher and Skywishes's relationship in the DVD's now wouldn't it...

.

That would be great if She/He is a boy! :D Pegasus BOY! wow!
((hugs))

Mario~

If he is a boy... what about the tiara?
The tiara is too girlie...

What's this about a five legged baby Ribbon?

*was wondering the same <.< *

Bwahaha... yeah, it never even crossed my mind that Star Catcher was a guy. Even without the tiara. --But I have trouble imagining what a "macho" boys' crown would look like MLP style anyway? : 0-P
Buttons. X 0-) Buttons and Slugger in Somnambula...hmmmm. *is actually finding she kinda likes this better than the original plot, though, lol* And Heartthrob as a guy--! Hahahah. That's even stranger than the boy bride. *g* Applejack, though, does kind of have the voice for it...
*on the other hand, Bryn has a dog named Jack whom everyone always calls "she" when they first meet him*
