I suffer from a lot of sickness and physical and mental health issues. However two weeks ago I was having one of my super bad migraines. I had to go to the doctor and was put on 2 new meds. I was told to get my eyes checked as well.

I got my eyes check and it turns out not only do I have a simple stigmatism but my eyes are going down hill bad.
I am not going blind anytime soon but I have a form of eye degeneration. It will worsening over time. I am having to get stronger glasses and I am have a bacterial infection that is causing my eyes lens to crack. I did not know they could crack. So I get to use this stuff that burns and hurts like heck for the next couple of days.

I wont have my newer glass for a week. I am scare to think how thick they might be and how much the drop I need to slow down my eye issues cost.

I cant drive due to my eyes. I may have to have surgery later on in life but for now the doc just wants to keep checking on me every few weeks.
I hope I don't end up with everything looking like water colors after a rain storm if this gets to that point. Eye issues run in our family.

My gosh Ology! It's just one terrible thing after another! I hope they can address this and get you taken care of before your sight suffers any more than it has already.

I hope things improve. I started having eye sight problems and my eyes are super bad now. I can't see anything without glasses and even my glasses don't work perfectly. I was a person that never needed glasses. I know its expensive. I really wish you didn't have to face surgery either. Yikes. It takes time to get use to the new prescriptions. R2 and I both ended up noticing a whole bunch of things we never saw before when we got our new glasses this year. Seriously, that is so bad. booooooooooo to eye problems. Hang in there.

I know I need reading glasses after years of having better than average eyesight. It's crazy having to have glasses to read something small then take them off to see across the room. Cooking by recipe is the worst, I end up wearing the glasses on the tip of my nose and looking over them. :D

Oh dear that sounds painful :( any delicate ly part getting bacterial infections is never easy. Hope it can all work out x.x

Thanks guys. I was in hospital Friday night and Saturday for a gastric blockage. Past out woke up to EMT helping me into a stretcher. Got meds a bag of fluids I was major dehaydrated. Been on bed rest. Can't drive.

Had more eye test done today. Right lens has mild scaring on it but the treatment I haveing seems to be working.

New glass and new ver very very very dark sun glasses should be infriday.
My eyes are fully dilated. Well at least the don't have to put drops in my eyes anymore.

That is me. I have strong readers and they are always on my head when I shop until I need to read something, but I can't see to walk down the isles with them on ROFLOL. Oh me eyes are makin' me crazeee.

Ology, I am sorry to hear you had that. My aunt suffered from that a lot due to medications she was on. I know the hell you go through with that and its so painful. Please rest up and super big hugs to you.

I'm so sorry about your eyes, and to have a gastric blockage too! You are one tough cookie, I hope your new glasses help you lots!

Update: New glasses help but my eyes are Permanently Dilated and I have a stigmatism. I feel like Gizmo when I go into the sun "bright light bright light. Needless to say I don't go out much this time of year.

Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. Is there anything you can look into nutritionally that can support your eye health? I used to have all these health problems (I was in and out of the hospital) and I've had issued with asthma and all sorts of other issues to boot, but I started seeing a naturopath and nutritionist in combination with my family physician and my whole life has changed. I eat a ton of healthy, but great tasting food, and all of my health problems are either gone or significantly reduced. I don't want to sound like some sort of health nut or say it works for everyone, but I was hoping to offer up something that might help.

Wishing you the best through this hardship.
