Help Identifying a My Little Pony?

Hi, my girlfriend recently was telling me about her favorite toy as a child and how she left it behind at a party one time and by the time they went back, it was gone. Her family didn't have a lot of money at the time so the toy was extra special to her. I remember all too well the feeling of losing one of your favorite toys!
So I was trying to track it down and was wondering if anyone on here at least would know how to identify the pony. Once I know what it looks like I should be able to find one somewhere!

I'm trying to be sneaky about this so its a little hard to find out all of the information.
- Lighter color blue
- has a jewel on her head
- has pink/fuchsia in the mane and tail, possibly all pink/fuchsia
- She would have been a child in the late 80's early 90's so it would have been one of the earlier generation ones.

I also know it's not Star Gleamer, pictured here!

Is there any way it could have been a unicorn, and had a horn instead of a jewel? I'm looking through wikis and MLP searches and I'm not seeing really anything with a jewel on their head...

these are my best guesses, but the jewel on the head throws me off. if i see any more that fit the description ill get back to you. good luck!
 
Thanks so much for the replies! I've been going through any of the blue ones on the Wikipedia list but nothing so far.

I've searched a lot for ones with jewels on their head and, like you, have not come across much. The only one I found was Star Gleamer but I know that isn't the one she lost.

I am going to see if I can find a way to see if she recognizes any of the ones that have been posted in here so far.

i think it has to be Skylark as ianthe said. i'll have a little look and see aswell, but skylark is the only one i can think of right now



eta: now i am just digging randomly through all ponies :p

this one was released in 2000 so it's probably a little late, but you can have a look anyways. the bigger one has a flower on her head that lights up

Skylark definitely looks closest to the description I have. I also have a picture of Princess Royal Blue as one of the "maybes" that I have to run by her.

Again I appreciate everyones help with this!
