I found these fakies today at a second hand store. I fell in love with them instantly. Which is odd because I am not a fakie fan. But something about them caught my attention.
They look more like donkeys. There is paint detail up the nostrils that, which is unusual attention to detail on fakies. Their glassy plastic eyes are placed in the head very well. The tail is threaded or haired. Tinsel in hair is actually blended fillament for sewing. Head turns.
I would like more info on them. Maybe even a MIB picture.

LOL about the random cutie mark assortment on the pink one. Well, OK, it's not totally random ... the three are all insects. :911: It's a neat find. I wonder how difficult it would be to give them new, custom eyes?

I dont want to get rid of their eyes. I think they are nicely done.

Thanks for the link.

I have two of these--a big one and a small one. I've seen more at thrift stores--they seem to be very common around here. And I love them--the big one is the leader of my fakie herd. I named her Bugaboo.

On that note, all the ones I've seen have the same cutie mark of three bugs, with quality varying wildly. Colours in paint may differ, as may eye colours. Not sure about hair--it's always pink on the ones I've seen, and always in braids or bearing evidence of past braiding. The purple one is by far the most common that I've seen.

Here's a picture of the big one--the little one is at a friend's house.

Glad I am not the only crazy who fell in love with these. I found two pink and one purple. The cutie marks are the same except for small variations. Do the babies have stars on their bum?
