Help me check your Sparkler (unicorn)!

Hi guys, I need a favour. Help me check the feet of your Sparkler to see if yours is not made in "Hong Kong". Apparently I remembered a post somewhere about a made in China Sparkler and that she's very rare and can't seem to find anyone who has one currently. Maybe you own one and didn't realise? So, go check your Sparklers!

Production in China didn't start until several years after Sparkler was issued. She was never sold in the later years as a mail order or any other special offer, so I would be very surprised if a "made in China" Sparkler actually exists. The ponies who turn up with both Hong Kong & China versions are typically those sold in Years 5-7. Is it possible that someone was mixing up the unicorn Sparkler with the Merry-Go-Round Sparkler?
