Hi, I'm new here.

I went to a flea market on Saturday (yesterday) and found a Mimic for $2.00. I'm not a pony collector and had no idea who she was or if she was rare until I did some research on her. I love to find things like this and sell them to collectors. (I'm a huge Rainbow Brite collector). Anyways, I cleaned her up and I'd rate her an 9 outta 10. How much would she usually go for on Ebay? Thanks!
 
Would really need to see a picture of her first. But it Mint condition $90-120ish?
 
Mimic is the most expensive twinkle eye pony. I paid over $100 for her and you are so lucky to get her for only $2.00
 
U are very lucky to find her for $2 . . . I wish I had found her that cheap but she does go for a lot and I will prob never be able to afford her lol =)
 
I paid 170 for my SUPER DUPER mint one and 70 for my slightly flawed one :D
I think I overpaid a little for the first but I do that a lot with ponies I REALLY want :p

I paid $150 for a mint Mimic from another collector when her price was at it's very highest a few months back . . . it's a bit hard to comment without seeing a photo but even in today's market I believe she's bringing up to $95 in near mint condition. From my experience she tends to sell for a higher end price if her pink mane stripe is still a nice vibrant pink and not faded :)

You certainly won't be short of people looking to give her a home :)
 
Wow she can go for that much? Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!! I can't believe I found her by "accident". I knew she was a G1, but like I said, I don't collect ponies. Thought I'd maybe get a few dollars for her. She only has a few minor flaws, but she's a beauty! I have her on Ebay now. I started her at $19.99. (I don't know how to post links on here).

Also, I am going back to the flea market on Friday. I think I seen pony combs, (a teddy bear one and a rainbow shooting star one, and other different ones) and other MLPS. I can grab them if their still there and post them on here in want to sell section if anyone wants them.

Its hard to tell from the pics but is her head a different colour than her body?
If so you might wanna mention it in the auction :p
It could just be my monitor though.
 
wow she looks really good and fr only $2? i wanna go to your flea market! i wouldn't mind having her (not that i hate her bout sheesh, $100 for as single pony? CRAZY!) at that price!

She looks beautiful! It's strange that the price on her looks to have declined slightly.

I've always wanted a Mimic, if she started going just a little cheaper she'd be within my grasp!
 
Hmm..Mimic's prices go up and down,depending on how sought after she is.$60-$100 is about what I've seen her go for,sometimes more.
BTW,congrats on getting Mimic for so cheap!:]

I read that first line and hightailed it to my auction :pupruns: & I was a bit nervous, I thought the pictures would look bad, but they seem ok to me. Maybe it was the way I positioned the light on her, that the pony's head or body may look a funny color to some people in the picture. She personally is all the same color. Thanks for pointing that out, I really appreciate it :)
