Help with a Toy: Is this Ivar?

I can't find this toy anywhere. I loved it and got it today at a store. I think its Ivar but I am not sure. It is marked 1998 Toy Biz Marvel.

I can ask at the vintage Toy shop tomorrow. The only thing I can find that looks a little like the red Alien thing is in 1998 TOY BIZ Marvel Comics Silver Surfer Alien Fighters Ivar & Ant warrior. It looks like something out of a Cereal box or maybe a prize from a gumball machine or a goody bag toy from a birthday party. Maybe a toy from a fast food place but I am not sure.

Maybe this can help if you can measure it and all.

Yea if it is fast food there is no writing on it anywhere to suggest that. The little space like ship opens up. I saw that figure @Ology that is how I came up with the name. Mine is super small and jiggly.

my guess is goody bag, cereal or possible gumball toy. I just saw where you put Ivar on there sorry did not see that earlier. I can ask at the toyshop for you tomorrow if you want?

I ask the guy at our toyshop he said He has one like your figure. He does not have the ship thingy so that was new to him. He did tell me while he cant remember who it is he is not Ivar. He said he think the little guy came with a set as like a creature you get a few with. He said he will look around some more and if he finds his he will let me know. :sadpony::sadpony: Sorry I could not help more. I tried.:sadpony::sadpony:
 
Oh wow that is interesting though. Thank you @Ology You never know he might get back with you one day about it. I wonder if the two items don't go together. Even though they are the same color maybe they don't go together. Hmmmm

Ill ask when I go back next time he went threw a few boxes while I was there. For sure he did say it was a figure that came with other figures and is not Ivar. The ship he has never seen.
 
@tulagirl By the Gods I could have ask that comic shop. I will be back that way in a few days if you have not found anything else on it. There several nice guys and gals who might know more they breath the marvel stuff . Even if they don't collect the toys they might know the character.
 
Asked hubby, he said the little dude’s name is Spyne, he’s from X-Force (other x-men like teams from marvel). That figure actually came as a “side kick” figure in the package with another actual full size figure. The ship/pod thing looks familiar to him but he still can’t place that. Working on it :)

Thank you thank you thank you. I am so thrilled as I have ordered the figure that goes with him. They were not expensive at all. He is so darn neato. Now I want a comic so I can understand who this character was since he gets killed off. 5 stars for you. I can't wait to find out what that space ship thing is. Now I know they did not come together for sure. whooo hooooo
