I made a bunch of McD ponies as Holiday gifts this year. Are you ready for the onslaught of pictures? Give it time to load! All ponies are standard McD's, rehaired with embroidery floss, painted with acrylics.
First up, N's Baby Rattle. N had her second baby... TODAY.
Next, T's Golfin'
A's OSU; A is an OSU grad (surprise, right?). OSU has really long hair, I tried to make the manes a bit fancier with the simpler symbols.
Gah. This second picture is really shadowed, but I already gave the ponies out so can't take a better pic.
M's Longhorn; in real life, M's longhorn was a huge pain, wrecked fences and tore up her barn. So I thought she could use a little calmer one for Christmas
R's Kitty, because R is a total kitty nut, and frequently picks a patient to pack around the clinic all day.
S's Scissors; S is our groomer. Scissors are deceptively difficult to get right! Metallic embroidery floss for the mane, metallic silver paint in the symbol and tail. Metallics don't seem to photograph well for me, lots of glare.
K's Kupkake (I didn't decide the spelling, blame her grandma!) is based on a tattoo K got this year. She is an accidental Glory knock-off with the color scheme, didn't even notice until I was half way done with the mane.
C's Spongebob, because C is a Spongebob freak.
CC's Candlelight. Based on CC's favorite colors, and because she wouldn't believe me when I told her I wasn't buying her stuff for Christmas--I wanted things she liked not just things she wanted for Christmas, but she insisted on candles
P's 17. Some of you may remember that I did a Matt Kenseth/17 car pony last year, this is this year's version, because Kenseth is driving for different sponsors this year, and the colors have all changed. He's now driving the Crown Royal car, so this pony will be delivered in a little Crown Royal bag. Dye job is Royal Blue Rit on a pink (Pinkie Pie?) pony.
And that's the lot of them! Hope you enjoy
