Holiday Gingerbread - in progress

my cousin wanted me to do her a gringerbread man pony for her for christmas. someone take my smaller point paint brushes so the cutie mark isnt perfect but shes ready for rehairing im trying to figure out what colors would be best i was thinkin doin red with a couple of small highlights of white throwin in

I would say a hair mix of red, green and white would be a perfect match.

I think if her hair has too much red, all I'll be able to think of is Ariel from The Little Mermaid LOL But 1/2 red and 1/2 white peppermint hair would be awesome! I'm loving the ballerina-esque ribbons
