G1 Hot Topic Pin Drama

The Hot Topic in my mall closed down ages ago, so I got online to get the blind box pins that are out right now at Hot Topic. They had a "spin the wheel" and sign up for all their advertising deal, and I spun it and got 30% off! Great! But, I put 5 pins in my cart and went to use the code and it wouldn't take. I had to chat with someone who told me that these pins are "exclusive" and so they don't qualify for the discount.

She did help me though. I placed the order at full price and she is going to go in manually and adjust the price down 30%. She said she'll send me an email when it is done. Just in case you guys have the same issue if you have to order them from there.

Also, if I don't get them all (which would be miraculous luck, for sure), I will be hoping to trade. Lol! They are super cute!

The last time there were pins, I had to buy them at Entertainment Earth, because I was late to the party. Lol! I was trying to be proactive on this one, but still ended up having to order them online. *sigh*

I keep meaning to go to Hot Topic. the mall is practically next door to my job. those pins are cute!

My mall’s Hot Topic is painfully behind on the times. I wish they had these! These are absolutely adorable!

I went to Hot Topic yesterday for a little walk around the mall. They had nothing pony related, but she said "They might get some in" so we'll see

Update: I got Megan & Skydancer, Parasol and Windy! And then 2 more parasol. LOL! If anyone needs a Parasol and is willing to trade Moondancer or Starshine, I'd be happy to do an even trade.

Shoot, Hot Topic is one of the few stores left in my crappy local mall. I'll need to see if I can get myself down there at some point. Those are super cute!

I bought one for the first time the other day alongside a shirt. It feels a little cheap for the price I think... I don't know if I would want more unless they went on sale. I got Parasol too. At least she's cute!
