How do I clean Lily Lightly?

I recently bought a Lily Lightly toy. All the lights still work, but she has some yellowish lines along the seams on her front legs, her hair is pretty gross and sticky, especially at the roots and she smells pretty bad in general.

She also has a small stain on her dress

Is there a safe way to clean her without harming the electronics?

Lily lightly is tough with all those connected parts… I just did some spot cleaning with acetone and a damp cloth then used a spray bottle to wet her hair (I covered the body up with a dry towel during this step). Not sure about cleaning the dress tho. I might just leave well enough alone and not risk messing with the electronics in it. Anyone else have experience cleaning her dress?

Thank you for the advice!
I might just skip the dress

Yes, several :) I use cotton balls with Dawn dish soap (I can't do chemicals) on her body, and once she's dry, wrap her body in several layers of towel or paper towel. If you keep the flow of water a good inch or so away from the base of her mane or tail, you can give her a thorough wash with running water, shampoo/dish soap, and conditioner. Just be careful and take it slowly.

I then wrap the hair around the paper towels on her body for her to dry, and let dry for at least a week before trying the electronics. I've never had one fail.
