How do you go about selling your ponies and such? x-post

I am looking for some ideas on how to go about selling the collection, so I would like to know how all of you do it? I used to do ebay but the last time I did that the fees were crazy. Also with my paypal, I had about $10 in there and that was about 1 year ago or so and I get back on there last week and there is no money left so I am not sure how they work. As I only used my paypal once for one item sold on ebay. I am so used to back in the day accepting payments such as money orders and cash, yes risky with the cash but we always got our payments.

I was thinking how cool would it be to host a live in person pony auction at my parent's place :hugegrin: That would be awesome!

So please post your ideas/tips on what would be a great way to sell an entire collection individually/lots and whatever other way I could do this.

Forgot to add that it will be hard to get descriptions/conditions of everything as my collection still resides at my parent's house. SO I can't keep going back and forth for every question asked. So this is sure gonna be tough. But it needs to be done!

Send them all to me. I have about a hundred dollars somewhere....

You can list them all here in the classifieds for free. Sell it lots according to year or type (all rockin beats for example) to simplify getting all those orders out. Sell the HTF ponies seperately. Or try to sell as one giant lot. It might go for less overall, but will also be way less work.
 
An idea also would be to also look through the sales forum here and read other peoples' sales threads. That way you can get a better idea of how you want to set your sales up. I'd use ebay as a very last resort. It's pretty hard being a seller on ebay these days.
