I order things online all of the time. Due to my disability I am at home and now with Maki I really am home bound. For some reason I am losing about 1/4 of all my packages and stuff. The post office marks them delivered but they never are on my porch. No one has anything to say about it. They can't tell me where they left it. Sometimes I get lucky and a neighbor will bring my box to me. Its the same lady over and over that keeps getting my boxes. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? I have tried filing complaints, I have tried talking to the post office and management. No one has anything to say to me. They are rude and full of "I don't knows."
I have lost a lot of things because of this. I wonder how much of my mail actually never gets to me. I even sent a complaint to the post master general about the po box we had because the same thing was happening there. The only answer I got from them was that someone is marking my items as delivered when they are not in that process. But wait, how can that be. First they mark it as out for delivery and several hours later delivered. How can that be a mistake? The truth was stuff was just sitting in the post office for months because someone isn't doing their job.
Then, recently I received an empty box that my item was literally taken out of by someone in the postal system. The seller had to give me a refund and they filed a claim and got paid last week. We have decided the reason that item was taken was it was shipped in a liquor box which is against USPS rules.
What usually helps is when people send things I have to sign for. I always get those. If its first class mail its 50/50 I will get it. I am so frustrated and upset about this. I just don't know what to do. Its not an address problem. This is a postal process problem. I have decided to just quit buying things for a while until I can figure out what to do. My mother is having the same problem. She isn't getting her mail either and she is in a whole other city.
Does anyone have any ideas I have not thought of? I am so frustrated and upset. I was waiting for one last thing and yes yet again. Delivered...I don't have it. Where it is ...is anyone's guess. The incompetence is huge. This is not pony mail...this is everything I order from my medications to stuff we need each month.
