I hadn't gotten anything G1 in a while

Not that I hadn't tried. I had ordered a Starshine pony pattern from an Etsy seller. Oh, it was shipped but it never made it to my house. Delivery Confirmation SAID that it had been delivered but alas... the incompetence of the Postal Service reared it's ugly head.

I had a chit chat to the package delivery supervisor (appearently there is such a thing) about my mail vanishing. Not all my mail, just certain things. Besides the pony pattern not making to to my box, mail from my workplace was also not reaching me. But I digress.

Since my mail has miraculasly been coming to me unabated as of late I figured it would be a good time to score some more unusual pony stuff.

I had decided a couple of weeks before Halloween that I wanted that Moonstone pony costume I had as a child. I had never managed to see one on eBay, so I figured that I would keep an eye on Etsy every couple of weeks to see if I could spot one.

The box has cometh...

Bubble wrap removed. Pony package peeks from within.

EEEEE! What joy! Yes, that is my oldest cat looking to see what I got this time.

I don't even remember what age I was when I had one. 5 maybe? I also had Cheer Bear and Tenderheart Bear costumes. But Moomstone was the only one I remembered specifically.

Temporary place of honor, until I get some more shelves up on the wall.

thats awesome. wish i had a pony costume back then. they should bring those type of costumes back. they were cool. they are probably cheaper and easier to make than the kinds that are sold now.

That's such a fun thing to have! I wish I had been a pony for halloween when I was a kid.

Ps: I know how you feel about the mail. I am currently fighting with them about a package I mailed out to someone like a month ago that hasn't arrived yet.
