Well I've been thinking about this, and I think I want to try this. You all know my persona Kya right? I love her; she's simple, and unique, and has lots of deep intricate meanings to me. She is me really...well mostly me; she is a big part of me. But I guess I'd like a persona who isn't just a part of me, but IS me. It's a whhole OL/OC me vs. RL me; I've tackled this before in my artwork, but always what I designate as RL me turns into an OC me...but anyways, that's sorta off topic. I am by no means getting rid of Kya, she will always be my pony persona. Nor am I getting rid of any of my other pony OCs, but those are OCs not mes. And I've seen others do up these Patchwork Pony threads, so I thought why not have a go at it?
So I guess I should start off with some of my basic likes and dislikes and stuff hu? Well...
Fav color: Hot Pink, Electric Blue, Neon Green, other neon colors, black, pastels
Fav number: 8 or 88. Ever seen the movie "23", well that's my life but with 8s. Really, it's spooky
Hobbies: drawing, writing fiction, watching cartoons, drawing cartoons, reading manga, ponying (du XD; ), knitting, TCG playing/collecting, comic book collecting and reading
Fav Reading Genre: Novels; Scifi/Fantasy, Manga; same, but the shounen variety unless it's an actiony shojo
Fav Animes/Manga: YuYuHakusho, Yugioh (not GX |P ), DeathNote, Angel Sanctuary, Return to Labyrinth, Bleach
Fav Movie/TV Show Genre: Horror, Slasher Flicks, Cartoons, Suspense Thrillers, Investigative Crime

I can't think of much else atm...If you think of anything feel free to ask and I'll answer. Here's some more personal stats:
DOB: November 8th 1988 (look it's the 8s)
Zodiac: Scorpio (Western) (the 8th house btw), Dragon (Eastern), Walnut Tree (Celtic)
Physical features: I've dark brown hair that gets red streaked when I'm in the sun, bright blue eyes, right handed, and am the shortest in my family at 5'4"
I describe myself as a sarcastic cynic who laughs at dead things and is a walking contradiction. I'm not morbid though, or goth (ugh I hate being laybeled as one-no offense to goths, some of my friends are goths and I love them, but I'm not a goth); I'm actually a very bright neon colored person. I just laugh at gore ^^; My brother describes me as a house cat; "she sits around all day eating and sleeping and cleans herself when she feels like it" as he puts it (he thinks he's a comedy genious). I've been told I'm a very "twisted person" as in, I like to blurr the lines between black and white/good and evil in my art and storys. I'm very into duality and that blurr of the line actually; I'm also obsessed with masks, whether they are physical or metaphorical; I've also been interested in delving into the psycological aspects of the comparison of how you see yourself and how you let the world see you. I also like red spades
My love life is a horrible story really; I've had the worst luck. I've been in love 3 times I think; each of them broke my heart terribly. The first one I was in love with him for years, even though he was mean to me in Elm school, and when I told him I loved him before he switched schools he sai he didn't like me and it just shattered me; oddly enough though he had no problem dating practically all my friends and his other gfs I saw back then looked like me >>; I've had 3 "offical" relationships-well 4 if you count that I was with 1 guy twice; the first one moved 3 hours away on me without telling me 5 years ago, and when I saw him this year it took him a few monutes to remember who I was even though he went to school with my brother and knew the rest of my family imediately, the second one (who I think I was in love with) broke it off with me after a year and even though said they weren't leaving me for this other person, they did >>, and the last guy dumped me because he didn't think we were "similar enough" even though I'm the only girl he'd dated so far that didn't try to steal his stuff on him (he's the one I went out with twice). Everyone who knows me says that I'm one of the nicest, sweetest and kindest people around, that anyone would be lucky to date me, and yet no one does; that's the problem running with the ****** crowd and not doing drugs I think. But despite that, I am a hopeless romantic; I believe in soulmates, and that there is someone for everythone out there; maybe 2 different someones, just encase you miss the first you.
I am sorta fasinated by death you could say (again not morbid though ^^; ) I've been told I accepted death very easily when I was 4 and my grandparents died. And nowadays, I'm obsessed with grim reapers and how they're portrayed in various ways. I love Terry Pratchet's pirtrayal of Death, and yet I adore the way the reapers are represented in shows like "Dead Like Me" and "Reaper". I feel this also goes back to my obsession with the #8; 8 is the same as Infinity, which is a never ending cycle for life-death-rebirth, just like the Egyption Anhk. I am also very into Egyption mythology too, and Norse. I do not beilieve in a monotheistic entity, and those two polythestic pantheons are just so rich with their storys.
Ah well...lets diverge away from my psydo-psychology (which I like to use alot; I over analyze things quite often, usually just me or fandom things). I like genetic theory too...I support Lyanthrope over Vampires. Nothing against the Vamps, but Lycans are very under appriciated. I'd like to think on some level I have a bit of Lyanthrope in me because of how I align with the moon (a recycling cycle like Infinity). Um...I collect mint green ducks :lol:
My favorite pony species is definately the unicorn, even though Kya is a draco-peg, followed by Earthlings. Regular Pegs just don't thrill me as much and idk why really. I loce workhorses, but in the MLP-verse those are boys ^^;
I know I'd like to call her "Bob-Kat" because that's a combination of both of my names that a very close friend of mine gave me the one year we were both at the tech center together (cause he's the only person unrealated to me I let call me "Bob", but my classdmates who were his friends first were calling me "Kat", so it was an easy way to keep me straight I guess :lol: ) but that doesn't mean make her bobcat themed; that'd be weird :lol:
