Those were several commercials cut together ^^and yes, it was german :p The main song was always "I am a my little pony mommy, i am fond of my ponies" :p

The first is the Watercolor Baby Sea Ponies (only sea ponies we had), followed by the brush 'n go ponies (called zauberschweif-magic tail Ponies in german), then the Newborn Twins, the Poof n Puff Perfume palace ("Duftparadies" -> paradise of perfumes) and Megan and Sundance (Annabell und Sauseschnell (sauseschnell would be like fast dasher) the last screen shows the comics and the story tapes available.

Our Poof n Puff palace actually came with Nail polish.. I know because I had it and a lot of my ponies from childhood have those nail polish marks :< Interestingly enough I never put dots on them like in the video, looking a bit like Elephant feet there.. instead I'd just cover the wole front foot in a nail-like shape 8as if Id do my own nails..which I deffo did with the nail polish too:p)
Also interesting how they use Nightglider, YummYumm etc in that commercial tho those were never available in germany..

@ethereal: I'd guess they are Sticky and Sniffles, Newborn Twins, just looking white due to the bad video quality. :p In german they were called Wipp and Wopp, (wipp comes from the german word for to seesaw, wopp has no meaning at all XD)

If you would like to I can also translate what they r singing :p

Wow! Thanks for all of this info. It is very interesting. I wonder if we had pony nail polish in the US? Please translate the commercial so I'll know what they are singing.

german first, the english translation.. I am trying to keep the word order going without changing the meaning :p
I'm doing it in the commercial sequences, so Color Changing Sea Babies for the start:

Ich bin eine Mein kleines Pony Mami, meine Ponies hab ich lieb.
Meine neuen Baby Seeponies sind zum schwimmen nicht zu klein,
sie verändern ihre Farbe, tauch ich sie ins Wasser ein.

they change their color when I submerge them in the water.

Aw, that was so sweet! I love watching the old ads. The ponies look so new and perfect!

I also like the ending line of "I love her...like a friend!" It's like they ran out of rhyme there, lol.
