I guess this post is more of a tell then a show atm...pictures will follow soon...
My mom is the crime victim witness coordinator at for the county where I live. The courthouse that she works at is in the same town as I live/work. She helps a lot of people, and sees a lot of families in her job, so she has a family room off her office where kids can play when she is consulting with victims, or there is court going on.
Well, last friday we went over to Minnesota to look for bridesmaid dresses and for me to try on some wedding gowns (I DID find a dress...yay), we went out to eat, and she started asking me about ponies. I thought that was weird cuz she doesn't normally bring it up until I do, and then she just sorta gets the "I don't get it" look on her face lol. She ends up telling me that someone donated a pony castle AND ponies to her office! I asked her what kind of ponies they were, but she really couldn't remember, and then I asked if I could take a look at them and trade for some ponies if I didn't have them.
She agreed, and yesterday I went with a bag full of my extra ponies, most of them G1's cuz I don't have multiple g3's, and got some ponies I never had! I gave her a lot more then I took, but I couldn't stand the little castle playset being so forlorn w/o good ponies, plus now the ponies I gave up will have someone to play with them instead of being sealed up in a tote, which makes me happy (they were pretty good ponies, just had a few flaws). Mom thought it was weird I was giving up such nice ponies, but the ones I got in trade were worth it to me!!!

(G1)Sweet Lily Perfume Puff (I don't have any of these ponies, I was very excited. Her hair is so fuzzy, I love it)
SS Fifi-She is in ROUGH shape, but I couldn't leave her behind. She has a bigtime haircut, but I think I'm going to try to rehair her if I can get her flocking clean.

Tink-a-tink-a-too, she kind of reminds me of a wedding pony.
and Rainbow Dash in her first pose (I wanted a RD so badly cuz she's so cute daaaarling).
I want to wait till Ajcoecoe's swap box gets to me, but afterwards I think I will donate more of my extra ponies to my mom's office. I wish I would have thought about it before, so I wouldn't be the only one getting pleasure out of my pony collecting. I hope some little girl or boy has fun playing with them at my mom's office cuz I know odds are they aren't there for anything pleasant, maybe it will make the experience a little better for them.
