Identification guide

Hello all. My ponies have just been brought out of storage after being put away for many years. All are from the early to mid 80s. My question is, how to I identify what goes where. I no longer remember. Any good online reference guides for the playsets? I have 4 playsets. Although I do think they are all complete, I want to be sure before I sell. Any help?

Thank you!

My little wiki is a good website, strawberry reef, dream valley are also good, and if you're still stuck asking here can also be a good idea.

Great, thank you for your help. Here are some pics of what I just unearthed!

Great lot- you'll get excellent money for the megan's place! Yours looks to be not only complete, but in suburb shape. :) The aqua heart brush is even there! (it's super hard to find, I've been offered $30 to give up mine from that set! for just that brush alone)

Megan's place:
white and pink puppy (snowball)
Aqua heart brush
pink bed
blanket
6 white fences
1 pink "A" frame jump
1 Pole jump (3 pieces)
2 white flower boxes
2 white shelves
3 pink award ribbons
3 trophy cups
It could come with, or without Megan & Sundance. which version of the playset you got was printed on the box. :)

Megan and Sundance set:
megan doll with dress, panties and pink bow shoes. wide pink hair ribbon
Sundance with satin turquoise ribbon, and pink floral bridle.
-blue comb and blue flower brush

All the pieces you have pictured with the dream castle belong to that set- also included with the set: (I see these in your other pictures) -blue piece + 4 yellow horse shoes. The blue piece is a shoebox and the shoes each fit inside. The golden yellow star brush and purple cape also goes to the dream castle.

I suggest checking out mylittlewiki. Most of your ponies are from 83-86' you do have one from 88' the little boy pony, Paws with his bandana and orange race car comb. :)

Wow, thank you for your help! The next items I am going to take on is my jem collection!

Dream Valley is a great site, too!

Oh man you are so lucky to have all those old complete sets. And your ballet still has the ribbon handle! (Mine fell off when I was a kid. >____<)

You're going to have fun selling all that stuff and be prepared to rake a decent chunk of cash.

I just saw that Megan's Place at my local swapmeet for $15.00.

Should I nab it? (I didn't at the time, because I was exhausted and juggling funds... x___x)

I was just browsing the Dream Valley website today, found it quickly by typing that name into google search engine and it was the first option that popped up! :smilepony:

Um, yes, for the shell alone $15 is worth it, even if it's in sad shape it can be fixed up as well. With acc, in beautiful condition it's often worth over $100, depending of course who is looking at the time. :smilepony:

I found these 2 ponies. Also came with a white brush with a rainbow on the back side. Any idea what these are too?

Those are Fakies. :) Some are actually sought after, but since I don't collect fakies, I have no clue which ones have value or how to id them properly.

Thank you. I figured they were not hasbro since they have no markings

everything is now for sale. I would like to sell it all in one lot!
