I'm either going to get Galaxy, my favorite pony

But I don't know what to choose! I want to show the world my love for MLP. I think Galaxy would be the better choice, since she is an actual MLP. I'm going to have the rainbow logo over her. She will be on my hip. Anyways, Which one would you want to see?

Or better yet, show me pics of your tattoos that feature MLPs :D

I think that your persona would be the better of the two cause that is how you see yourself as a pony. You should try to incorporate the mlp logo with your persona pony, may be on her hip.

i thought about just getting baby moondancer symbol as a tattoo cause she is my fave, not as blunt as an entire pony though, most people would have no clue what it is from....lol.

Hmm.. I think your persona would make a really nice tattoo but your right about Galaxy being an actual MLP. I think either way they will both be great. Good luck and post a pic when you get it!!
 
Well, how long has the second pony been a persona of yours? If you are really attached to it and identify yourself with it, I think it'd be the better choice because you are stuck with it for FOREVER so something closer to your heart would be what I'd choose.
 
I'm going to have the logo going over her, just to make sure people know Galaxy is an mlp. As for Sunset Star, people won't know she's an mlp, since she technically isn't, but she means more to me, since she's me in pony form, I suppose I could put the logo over her too...decisions!!
 
I LOVE both pics. Its gonna be a tough choice! I already have 2 mlp tats and pretty soon a bunch of my friend's and I are going to be getting the breast cancer ribbon tattooed on us.

I would go with Galaxy. White ink doesn't stay well and your starlights on your custom picture would be covered with flesh colored highlights. Not very twinkly sounding.

Also on the one checklist with Molly and Sundance there is a pic of Galaxy.
I am also wondering if the UK Annuals had some pics of her in them.
 
There's tons of pictures in the MLP comics with Galaxy. Isn't Galaxy a Twinkle-eye? She has normal eyes in the picture posted.

I'd go with galaxy.But your choice. Whippetluv must be flattered that someone would want to permantly have her artwork tatooed(how do spell it?) on their body. I wish I could draw ponies half as well as she does.
 
I think she drew my persona perfectly. There are other 2 members here that came up with the idea of Sunset Star. I'm drawing a blank on the names though :oops:

If it were me, I'd go with Galaxy (and maybe later Sunset Star) just because 1-she is a Hasbro MLP 2-There are a few ponies that are very special to me, and they are almost like friends, especially the childhood ones. In that sense, you're making immortal both a good friend and pleasant childhood memory. If you'd had Sunset Star for quite some years, then I'd definatly say go with her.
 
I would say honestly that I would get galaxy...but have me redo your persona picture to become her. I think that origonal lineart is always the way to go...but I also think that the sparkles would be hard to tattoo. So I will work on a galaxy in that pose if you want me too...it is a good pose for a tat. And yes...I am enormously flattered!
 
since its going on your hip, you should make Galaxy's symbol instead! XD

If you're not up for that, I'd say do Galaxy. Whippet's right- sparkles are hard do get on a tatoo...unless you get Blacklight sensitive ink (they do make it!) or soemthing.
 
whippetluv I absolutely LOVE your work!!! And I too wouldn't mind having your art work tattooed onto me. :D It's just amazing!!!
 
Holy crap that's beautiful. :D

But just to make things harder to decide... I'd personally go with the Hasbro artwork Galaxy, just cuz I like more official sorts of things :wink: And it'd be more recognizable as MLP... but that's just me!!
