I just wanted yall to know that I'm makin chili this weekend xD haha

Do yall have any new recipes that youre gonna try out this weekend or in the future?

this is the recipe im goin for!

but im gonna saute my veggies and probably cook on high for 4 hrs instead

I made chili on Tuesday. There was about a bowl left when I went to work this morning. The husband is at home with it, so I know it will be gone.

I've made white bean chili with kale in it a few times. No recipe. I just sort if toss things in it to get at the flavor I want. That might be a next week meal.

You could probably wing it. Chicken, chicken broth, onions, green chilies, and your prefered white beans. For seasonings I use ground cumin, white pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and some ground coriander. Fresh cilantro, if you can taste it properly, lime juice (I use lime juice a lot) and kale if you want.

I just picked a couple handfuls of chili peppers so it uses some up. Canned green chilies work, too.

Mmm looks comforting.

Dump Chili is my teenager’s favorite thing to make because it’s so quick and easy and makes a ton so he has leftovers for days.

Cook meat (he uses 1lb hot sausage, 1lb hamburger), dump in 5 cans of different beans juice and all, a jar of marinara, and two packets of chili flavoring. Done!

I made a different kind of chili a while ago and my veggies were crunchy still after like 5 hours lol - so im gonna try to saute them this time

im not partial on beans in my chili - but i would try anybodies if it still had beans :winkpony:

i didnt see this post!

Sounds easy enough, id go light on the lime though, its not very well liked between me and my boyfriend lol - well use it, but lightly

but it does sound super tasty!

I love limes and can straight up eat them. I mostly use limes in place of just adding salt to recipes because my husband needs to eat less salt. A side effect of being over 40 and such.

You could modify the chili but it would need something more as a filler to give it texture. If the chicken was shredded up in a food processor, less liquid used, and more chilies added it could probably work on tortilla chips with some cheese.

This is making me want chili. I’ve never made it but might give it a try with the cooler season now

It is absolutely chili weather where I live now. We made some Thursday night. We did ground turkey and pulled apart some leftover chicken legs and added great northern beans, diced tomatoes we needed to use up from the garden, and a can of corn. (Plus, chili powder, red pepper flakes, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt). And then added sour cream at the table. Came out great! Can't wait to have some more.
