Info on a MIP mail order? or isn't it..not sure. pics too

What sort of info did you want?

I used to have a MIP Flutterbye like that. Only MIP G1 I ever opened. Same accessories as yours. I had to open mine because the bag was degrading and causing the pony to be a sticky gooey mess inside.

As for info, she was released at the same time the other 5 rainbow ponies were released via mail order.

And there was a seller in Canada that sold several a year or two ago in the weird thin packaging like mine that feels different from every other mail order I've ever had MIP (except one). I have a MIP Parasol in the same sort of plastic. It has me questioning whether different plastic was used for Canadian releases or just the rainbow ponies maybe. So far Parasol's bag has not degraded. *crosses fingers*

yea this is a thin flimsy bag shes in and shes not gooey but I think the glitter if there was any rubbed off in the bag...but she is mint and never opened. I don't think shes anything special just a MO offering of her. value wise? I hav eno clue

On a similar note, I was wondering if anyone knows if there were any differences between the original store release Flutterbye and the mail order Flutterbye? I have a loose one, so I am wondering whether there is any way to tell if she was the store-released one or the mail order one.

well this one being MIP theres no sticker, but otherwise I don't know of any differences between MO and store version on these..there may not be any difference thus not making the value any more or less..I think lol

I've noticed a difference between Parasol and Moonstone, but it's hard to say for the others since I don't have them. My MO parasol is a darker pink and her pink hair streak is completely different shade than all the other dozens I've had come through my doors. Same goes for my MO moonstone...except her body color appears to be the same.

I ordered both MO Confetti and MO Parasol out of the same order form that had the re-issued Mail Order playset ponies (Sprinkles, baby half note etc.), but they were the only Rainbows in that order form.

Were the other 2nd set Rainbows available through US mail order? I always hear about them being available in Canada, but was there a US order form for all of them as well? I'd love to see a scan if someone has a US order form.

The entire second set was not available, but some were. You got Confetti from it right and she's second set. I remember seeing the order form (brochure) a couple years back for sale, but I didn't save a pic of it or anything.
