Insanely Sought After G4 Fan-Merchandise!

I've seen that doormat! I wonder how the maker got to make it unless they own equipment to make those themselves because doormats would be company made.. I'd imagine the owner wouldn't use it seeing it may be one of a kind!

But I have to say, the doormat was a very smart idea and I still get a smile whenever I see it =P Poor Fluttershy.

And as for Nick "E The Pony" I'll be doing a search for him now! And if he were losing, I think it would be a fair thing of the plushie makers to tip him, most definitely :)

It looks painted or dyed. You can buy plain doormats and paint them yourself. I saw one recently too, just can't remember where.

I'll have to looking into that process. I figured they got it printed or something along those lines. Now that you mentioned painting I bet you can airbrush something like that.

yeah, I remember reading in like a do it yourself type of magazine (maybe Martha?) on how to customize our own rug, I'm sure a doormat wouldn't be too difficult. All I remember is that it involved cookie cutters for stencils.

As to the plushies, many are gorgeous and if well made worth it. Certainly better than some of the stuff I've seen Hasbro sell, but those I know are mass production so quality is low. I know if I had the cash I might splurge on something like that, but I'd almost want a guarantee that it would be one of a kind. Really makes me wish I could sew though! Tempted to tell my mom she needs to go into the plushie business.

I would never pay so much for a handmade plush but I really want one of Rainbow Dash...just for more a long the lines of $30-$50 not the $100-350 price cap...=_= I don't need it to be quality materials just want it to look show accurate.

I don't like the excuse that mass produced products always means quality is low. In the case of hasbro, I see their plush line as just plain laziness. I collect stuffed animals, and each one of mine (minus the enterplay dash plush) looks like the character. I have a spike plush from Land Before Time circa 1980's that looks just like him, the only problem is the color is off. And I could care less about that because a least he looks like the character. The worst stuffed animals modeled after cartoon characters I've seen in my life time have been the latest MLP plushes and Toothless from how to train your dragon. It just seems like hasbro doesn't want to put their money in their plush line and just their more easily made plastic ponies. That's just my view on it though. I feel their older plushes were made just a bit better
