My daughter definitely wants a few ponies on her wishlist for her bday. I've been trying to find her a Wind Whistler, but they seem to have pretty grubby flocking and white or near white hair.

She doesn't hafta be mint or near mint but a pink haired pony with non grimy flocking would be a nice change.

I don't know about Wind Whistler, specifically, but in my experience, it's hard to find ANY of the So Softs in nice condition. It's SO hard to find one that doesn't have massive flocking loss, or flocking that makes you not even want to touch the thing. I was lucky enough to recently acquire a So Soft Sundance that is pretty nice, but even that has some yellowing around the front legs.

There are a couple of nice Wind Whistlers on Ebay right now. One is in a lot of So Softs and the other is listed by itself. The latter seems to have flocking loss, but is clean with pink hair. They might be worth taking a look at.

Thank you

Actually I agree with the so softs trying to find them with decent flocking. However trying to find the second set of So Softs with any type of flocking is very hard. The flocking on them is so thin. I still have my deflock of Taffy. I never got another for the reason its nearly impossible to find her with decent flocking. :sadpony:

You know though, maybe you could get a battered up Wind Whistler, deflock her then reflock her. Flocking isn't really hard, you just need time and patience and lotsa glue. It would be a fun project!

Good Flocking= Might want to wait for a near mint or very good condition one, So Softs are HTF with perfect flocking

Pink Hair= Rare, in this one you have to be cautious since people re pink ponies and pass them off as originals :sadpony:

Just my 2 cents :) Wind is a really beautiful pony if you find the right one with pretty pink hair and soft flock

I found one in really good shape with pink hair and nice flocking. The thing about her is you have to search and search all ebay sites and be willing to take the time to find her. It is not impossible to find her nice however, if she is nice you will pay a bit more for her. I know I did. It didn't break my bank though.

Actually we've lucked out several times before. I have a fairly decent looking Paradise, she has a stunning Scrumptious and a nice North Star.

Nuh uh, no way! I've heard things about those flocking tools, dangerous things. See, I'd use it and botch it and then you guys would hafta sell me off as a unique, one of a kind charbroiled Perfume Puff.

That actually sounds kinda awesome but also stanky. Burnt hair is a stink all of its own.

Is your daughter's heart set on the So Soft Version? If not, there is always the Non So Soft UK version. The colors look much brighter without the flocking and you get the same character and pose.
