I found a large lot of ponies, but unfortunately, *alot* of them have rust on their bodies! I have really never seen anything like it... I've only ever seen ponies with rust in their tails, but these ones have little rust dots all over (it is definitely not smooze/cancer). Is there any cleaning product that can remove them? Will sun treatment help? These ponies would be minty if it weren't for their rust problems!

Thanks for the help!

have you tried soap and water? or toothpaste? that seems to help remove the rust from tails...oh and baking soda. thats tuff REALLY helps remove rust. if just cleaning acn't remove it then you'll have to look into deeper cleaning methods, but if it's just regular rust ontop of the plastic i don't see why regular cleaning wouldn't work

Try a product called 'Purple Power'. You can find it in auto parts stores. I've used it on rusty tails, and it's absotlutely amazing! I'm not sure if it will work on the bodies though, rust tends to stain anything it comes into contact with. Good luck :)
*edit* It'll be in the body repair and paint isle. It's used for stripping rust off car bodies!

I'm with tsukikakushi on this, if you can find some of that really rough scrubbing soap mechanics and factory workers use for cleaning off oil and tough dirt, I'm sure it at least will work on some of your ponies.

I used to get my brothers to bring tubs of it back home and I used it on all those really hardcore dirty, rusty ponies and they always cleaned out close to perfect and what more, the soap tend to remove any and all smelly smells they might have had too.

Otherwise, like LLB said, I'd say go for it on scrubbing them with a toothbrush or soft nail brush and regular soap. That's worked on more than one occasion for me.

you could try plain old white vinegar, it actually eats rust per say. I used to have a skeleton key collection and that is what i used for them anyway, i am pretty sure it wouldn't hurt the ponies.

I've never tried it on bodies... But ALOE pampers baby wipes work amazing on tail rust.
