In my year of cleaning ponies I was scared of one thing.
Washing a pony and having to take its head off to only to see nightmares and spiders and other horrors from under the bed!!But then again that's just my anxiety over working!

But it finally happen when I got this girly,a first tooth quackers!!
By goodness I was so scared when I was rinsing her under hot water just to loosen her head to take it off, when it just POPed off with little to no force and showed me her surprise she had for me!!

Just wanted to share that horror story with everyone!Shes all cleaned up now, from cleaning her,her washer as well as clasp COMPLETELY rusted away in there!

Any other cleaning pony horror stories?I know this isn't the worst but it was for me,but it was fun to clean her!

Hi your brave from the pic's lol

Yep I bought a lovley baby buttons. Small mark on foot no big problems in description.
Took head off to check for tail rust, nightmare she was destroyed from inside with rust/ mold after a couple of days I lost the fight:-( too far gone to repair or restore.

Took a year but have another in mint condition :) at last.

Cue Psycho theme

Glad she's better now! I'm sure she's much happier!
I have a horror story:
I got my first three g1s from a friend and her mum said they went in the pool. I didn't think much of this at the time. When I was cleaning cherries jubilee, I saw she had a greenish black tinge to her. I didn't realize what if was until a few months ago when I squeezed her and black specs came out of her neck. I posted a thread asking what it was, and later that night opened her up. She was CAKED in mold! It was horrid! I opened up the other two a few weeks after and they were worse than cherries D:
They're all clean now :)

Well, I once was opening up a pony I think a Parasol. When I did try to take her head off to clean her I sliced my palm. I never forgot that.
I once saw dead flies inside a pony. Though I was cleaning them near a bunch of dead flies that dropped in with the ponies. I had to re-clean the whole batch. Needless to say I was very paranoid enough to check every single pony while cleaning them all.

OUCH! And it had to be Quackers! *whimper*

My only horror story was a spider inside a fakie pony. It was not that big, but it wasn't a nice surprise, either...

Yuck... Looks nasty. I haven't yet find a pony in that shape (luckily) I ma fearing when that happens..
