Trust me you don't want too. Watch the trailers if you want your childhood pooped on, or if your only familiar through the cartoon through hearsay, to see what a generic snoozefest it is. Dunno about other countries, but here it bombed so bad they pulled it after two weeks.
 
Maybe gonna watch it after few years (when it isn't new anymore) if this pops up in my path. I didn't watch Jem show when I was a little (90's child) so no childhood memories ruined if I watch this ;).. but I do not like the main actress
 
Any Jem film that only has a tiny last sec glimpse of the Misfits is da poop. POOP, I SAY!

This US Holiday turkey is appropriate for a film dat flopped so bad they pulled it from theatres. Whatta sinker da stinker.
 
I wish they had made it in the style of the original cartoon. It would have been really wacky but I think the nostalgic appeal would have been enough to make it more successful. From only seeing the trailer, I'm glad I did not go see this one.

The movie you described was the movie all the Jem fans were waiting to see. I think that "Jem" movie would have done better if they called it something else and didn't market is "Jem".

I would pay to see a Sharknado eat the fake Jem.

Man, those movies are awesome sauce. Just as good as Mecha Shark vs Mega Shark!
