Oh the drama. Between cranky redneck sellers, and the mini-dust storms, I was surprised to find such nice ponies for so little. I also got to meet another pony collector while I was there. I found 2 near mint flutters (the only flaw is a lack of wings), several minty babies, and two sad, wingless Windy Wingers for $12.
Then.. a guy offered me a box of MLPs and other miscellaneous plastic toys for $5 and I found a few gems in there.
And I found a Fairy Tails bird complete with stand, comb and silky perfect hair for $4

GROUP PHOTO! These are all the real ponies after a good bath and brushing. All in all, they look good.

I ended up with SO many of these ugly buggers due to my bulk box buy. Anyone have a use for these? Let me know.

Here's the pity party ponies. I felt so bad for those tiny defenseless wingless wingers. Sparkler isn't doing too well either.

This pony was BLACK with grime and dirt when I first worked on her. her hair was a tangly pile of misery and she had rust marks all over her. After a good scrub down (she's the only pony I've ever had to take a brillo to), this is what she turned out to be. Not bad, still needs work.

Wow, there's some nice goodies there! The lil wingers look sad to not have wings, but happy that you rescued them. :)
 
Aw, you got some Sweetie Pups! I collect them, theyres cute ;) Great finds.

Oh! That little yellow one, with the green hair and the plastic clothing looks like a Micro Beauty!! I have a TON of those I'm supposed to be photographing for someone o.o *whistles innocently...and goes to get her digital camera*

If you're interested, I'd be willing to sell or trade most of those for G3's. The only one I have fond feelings for is the little sitting pony. She was adopted by my boyfriend's Transformers as a shoulder pet already. Just let me know which ones you want and we can make a deal. :D
 
Good finds, I know someone in the community makes replacement wings for wingers. They would be so cute with a second chance!
 
Wow great finds Foxbite! :D Man i really have to start hitting up the fleamarket and thrift stores more often. The thrift stores around my area never have anything in terms of toys. :cry:

Like I said before, congrats on all your finds:) I came home with 17 ponies and a plushie from there, hehe. And to think, we were literally 2 ft away from each other cause I saw a girl looking at the sea pony floats at that cranky seller's booth :shock: I even almost said something to you, but I can't remember what, lol. I was thinking, I bet she's a collector!

And what do you know, he has them all on ebay now cause no one would pay his stupid prices, lol. What really kills me though, is that all those rares they had on the table...they were all dirty and un washed like the rest, and I have this sickening feeling they bought them all from other vendors on saturday before they let the public in :cry: If they keep coming back, there goes my hopes of ever finding a Punzie for $4:( The best I've done was $5 for angel, bright eyes, and quackers, but I always tend to find really nice ponies there:) I got a MOC argie baby peachy for $28, pair of flutter wings for $1, my minty lemon treats and Princess Sky Lark for $10 each all last year:)

*must start saving so she can freeze her but off again and do this in oct* hehe.

I've only ever found one pony at a thrift store/flea market/whatever and that was a Baby Cebration that was covered in smooze and had a horrible hair cut. The seller wanted $30!!! :roll:

Ah! The little curly haired collie! I have one somewhere in a box with my Barbies! That was always my Barbie's pet dog. It's almost the perfect size. ;)

I want that one too! So clean and minty (NOT like my old one) looking! Is that a Sweetie Pup?

You got some pretty cool stuff there. :super:

Next time come over and say hi! I like meeting fellow pony collectors in the area who aren't scared of me. :oops: I really hope that girl recovered from talking to me.
