Hey guys, I hope I post this in the right topic. I have recently bought this pretty Kiss'n'Makeup, however, she has some holes in the plastic. It seems that she had been chewed or scratched with something. My question is - what should I do with these holes? Should I use Fimo and fill them, or should I leave them alone? :(

She's lovely!
I'd probably leave them. They look quite shallow so I think they'd be hard to fill in, plus you'd have to match the colour of paint, or the perfect shade of clay. However, it's your pony, so if the holes bother you, I think you should fill them :)

Thanks! The girls on the other My Little Pony forum suggested that I should carefully boil the head, and the holes should flatten. I will try doing it tomorrow and I will let you know how it went!

There are some things that don't fix easily. So, if it doesn't work out just find a humorous story for her wounds and make her your mascot.

I would just leave them personally. I like ponies with a life story. She's a survivor!

Personally I would just leave them, chances are from a distance you can't even see them :) If you start using clay/etc then you'll need to sand very carefully, and matching paint will be difficult. Then it'll have to be sealed, and all in all you might end up with something much more noticeable than what's already there.

I've been in this hobby a long time, and I have never seen a case where boiling fixed any kind of holes or damage like that. The only way I've seen damage like this fixed without the use of clay/etc is the direct application of acetone and smoothing the essentially 'melted' plastic at the application site. It's very risky, both in that acetone is a toxic chemical and that your pony could end up disfigured or, more likely, exposure to sunlight following acetone could lead to permanent discoloration or bleaching.

I would just buy an upgrade. Or just put her on her NDS and say shes too shy to meet the other ponies.
