Cleaning out the kids old toys, found a Lickety Split in the the package (rough shape but intact) so I posted it on Marketplace (my MLP knowledge is non existent). A kind lady messaged me that it could be interesting because the package says Pegasus. this is a Canadian version, French English. I'd also b e curious if the asking prices for G1 in packages on eBay are being met since they are much higher than I would have guessed. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Wow i've never seen anything like that, i can only think of two things

1. Someone took her out of her original package and put her on that one

or

2. It's a genuine factory error

Wow, this is pretty cool!

Upon searching ‘Ma Petite Pouliche Pegase’ into Google images, I found this from Pintrest, the same as your one:

And it looks like Tops Toys also did it too:

It must have been something that happened with these ones?

I’m sorry I don’t know anything about pricing

hard to see in the pic, but it has the Lickety Split name on the packaging, so its right from the factory, could be a classic cut and paste error when they designed the bilingual packaging required in Canada.

Does Lickety Split have a French name underneath the English name? I am curious as to what she was named as. It could help searching for answers too. I see Tootsie was called Rondelette

I missed that, the name is shown in French and English - Trotteuse for French. on the back of the package there are 16 ponys shown all with French and English names. (I'll list them if anyone is interested)
Hasbro Canada, Longueil Quebec, 1985

I'm interested in the names :)

Lickety Split and Tootsie were sold without a specific set name on the card. Maybe they didn't have this design anymore in 1985. Or they were told to use the design which was used for the other releases at that time. It would be interesting how the backcards of the actual pegasi and unicorns look like.

Names from back of card in attachment, with apologies to the French members reading this, I left out the accent grave and accent aigu
