I started these two girls last night so that I would have something to work on while the two FBRs I'm doing for swap ponies dried. They are for a friend of mine's two little girls. Melody is an energetic little girl whose favorite colors are red, white, and blue. Her favorite flower is the Grape Hyacinth. I picked out one of my blue ponies whose hair was in good shape, painted her eyes and symbol, and then dyed her hair with Scarlet Rit Dye.

India is an old soul. She loves to draw and her favorite colors are also red, white, and blue. Her favorite flower is the Red Rose. I painted her eyes and sculpted/painted the red roses. Dyed her pink tinsel hair with the same Rit Dye. After I took pics I realized I forgot to put leaves on the one on her head so I have since done that.

Not my best overall but I think the girls are going to be excited to receive them....it's a surprise. I'd love to hear what you think!

Both are STUNNING! What wonderful color choices; I adore the flowers on the first. I'm working on a custom whose symbol is lilacs, and it looks similar!

It scares me that this ISN'T your best work. They are gorgeous!!! Your best work would probably blind me from the awesomeness!
 
Aww!!! Thanks guys, you all just brightened my day. =) I am bringing them to work with me tomorrow to give to their mom so that she can take them home to the girls. *fingers crossed* Here's hoping they'll love em!
