I saw @Sassarazzmadazzles having so much fun doing her count down! I'd have to give it a try for myself!

I usually don't get very excited about my birthday as I've never had much money to spend on it since It's so inconveniently located on the first of the month "Bills day!" Lol

only 31 days left until September 1st my 25th birthday!

Let's see if my ADHD brain will allow me to post an update every day! :p

My family and I are world champions at doing Dollar Store birthdays. We never really have money for birthdays, so we focus on food, treats and festive decorations. One year the Dollar Store birthday sign was missing a B, so it was Happy Dirthday lol. We thought is was hilarious, so now we have a Dirthday tradition in addition to our Dollar Store Bday traditions. It's actually a lot of fun to build a birthday theme around whatever the Dollar Store has available and on a almost non existent budget. A couple weekends ago, we did a triple birthday BBQ and I did a fruit themed party with bold colors, and lots of Pineapples and Flamingos...it was their "Luau" season. We also had loot bags, a guessing booth game and a mystery prize box game. Anyways, lol, my point is that you can still celebrate on a tiny budget and have lots of fun. I'm an October baby, so I typically do a Halloween/Spooky birthday.

I'd love to throw you a minty themed bday party! Such a great theme with lots of room for DIY too. Or like a Kawaii themed, gamer themed...or even pastel themed...but Minty themed would be amazing. :minty::satisfied:

I love the idea of a dollar-store party!
You'd probably be an amazing minty party planner!

We usually don't throw a "party" per say Don't get me wrong we put up streamers, and if we were feeling fancy tape some balloons to the walls, then we will light the candles, sing a couple rounds of happy birthday, open the gift if there is one, and go to bed! XD

Oh and 30 days now!
 
@Mintyeon 30 days to plan a dollar store birthday... :tongue: lol. Nah, do your party anyway that makes you happy. I used to not do much for my birthday, but then I had a kid, and now it's any excuse to have a "party". My birthday is basically my kid's second birthday now lol.
I also kinda wish I could go back in time to like 2006 or so, because I bet I could find you a G3 Minty birthday card and send it to you.

Yep! I always try to keep them up to date!
Thanks to @StormMaeker I was able to put "My minty wishlist" in my signature so that others can find it, and so that I can have it on speed dial for when I get something on my list! (and not have to go looking for it in the wishing well!) :greenheart:~:greenheart:

I feel like writing is like making a clay pot!
I like to visualize making the pot on the wheel and think about how I want it to come out and try to form the words accordingly!

For this one, I feel the rim is a little lopsided due to the end of the block of text having been too abruptly ended.
I didn't want it to drag on too long so I ended with a comical twist! :rofl:

And yet if I tried to say all that irl on the fly it would just sound dumb and confusing!
Writing gives me a chance to think and reflect upon what it is I'm trying to say as well as avoid redundancy in the text so as not to dull the experience of the read!

Lol, I'm not a writer and I've never made pottery in my life I just know what looks "write!" :rofl:

(Although my punctuation could use some serious help!)
