MLP Fair 2010- Updates and Info!

Where is that conference held? what country? city? etc?
 
MLP Fair

There will be lanyards to wear which you can put whatever name you'd like (pony name, real name etc).

The fair is being held in Louisville Kentucky.

However, the previous Fair organizer was very busy and overwhelmed and for a while it looked like it wasn't going to happen at all in 2010. The venue was changed to Louisville, KY so we could have a more hands on approach with planning and coordination. It is more central and we were offered a very reasonable venue rate (compared to past venues the MLPFair has used). We are able to focus much more on the games, activities, and events this year than in previous years. While I understand the confusion, these changes were announced in January so everyone could plan accordingly if they still wanted to attend the 2010 Fair.

Well I for one am happy it is in Kentucky, that's much closer for me coming from Canada. It allows me to go to this fair for the first time ever :)

I called the Galt house to see availability for rooms during the pony fair. They have a double room (i think i couldn't much understand her) Price was 150 for the first night and 145 for Saturday night. We are still thinking about getting a hotel room this way we aren't driving back and forth from E-town.
 
I have one request... Please take lots and lots of pictures guys for those of us that cannot go!

Eek! I left St. Louis without printing out my confirmation emails for the fair. :( Will I still be able to get in, or do I have to buy more tickets? I can show the email on my phone with the confirmation...
 
Oh man, you guys have fun! I look forward to seeing all the piccies!

And while the pony is not my most favourite in the world (but nowhere near the worst!) - at least she will add some colour to the fair pony shelf!

Thanks girlbuffalo1! I was actually able to use a computer/printer at the hotel I'm staying at, so it shall be no problem! Eek, so excited!
 
I hope you fair goers have a lot of fun, because right now I'm so bored, there is nothing to do except cry about not going to the fair, my heart is broken since I can't go.

I still really want a pony, guys!! If someone is there today and can pick one up for me, that would be great :)

IF there are any left over, will they be availible for purchase like last year? There's just no way I can afford to go to the Fairs anymore, but I (and many others, I'm sure) would love to have this pony.
 
I had fun today. it was a great fair and I thought it was pretty well organized :)
