Calling all ghouls, witches, elves and pixies to roam around the TP's Custom Forum now! Yup, it's that time again...

Welcome to the Halloween Custom Swap which is back this year with two skill levels:

1.) Intermediate- Has created 5 or more customs. Has actually sold or traded at least 2 customs on a deadline. Typically skills are dyeing, painting, rehairing.
2.) Experienced- Has been creating customs for a minimum of 1 year. Has sold or traded over 5 customs on a deadline. Skills go beyond the basics (dyeing, painting, rehairing) to sculpting, airbrushing, or other types of more intricate work.

This is the big annual custom swap held on the TP every year, it's always a lot of fun and a big hit with everyone so if you would like to join in please follow the instructions below.

Sign your name in promise to do your best work, something that you yourself would be proud to receive:

We pair you up with a partner, give you their likes/dislikes and other details, and you start work on your partner's custom.

Deadlines:

Sign-ups open until: September 4th
Partners Sent by: September 8th
First Check-In: September 18th (Idea should be fleshed out, baits and supplies should be bought. You should be in the initial stages of work.)
Second Check-In: October 1st (Custom should be started and "finishing touches" and final details should be the only thing left to do.)
Shipping Int'l: Monday, October 10th
Shipping domestic: Friday, October 14th

Check-ins will be done by PM. You are expected to PM Natsu_chan to check in by the deadline dates listed. Just provide a brief explanation of where you are in the custom-making process. For the second check-in, you should provide a photograph if possible.

For shipping deadlines, you should post in this thread letting the moderator know you've shipped.

Rules:

A.) You MUST be over 16 to join this swap. If you are under 18, you MUST have a mentor. We will pair you up with a volunteer mentor.

B.) Must be a TP member since at least January 2011.

C.) If you would prefer not to ship internationally, add it in your sign up form, and even though we will try to accommodate to your needs, you must be aware that you might end up having to ship internationally depending on how many people sign up and where they are located.

D.) You may NOT be involved in any more than 1 other swap during the time of this swap.

Feedback Requirements:

Absolutely NO negative feedback allowed.
Any neutral feedback is subject to rejection, although if only 1 neutral feedback and 10 or more positive, you may be accepted.

To enter, you must have at least 5 points of positive feedback at the TP or
at least 2 points of positive feedback at the TP and a 98% Positive Feedback on Ebay.

Also:
For Intermediate skill level: You must also provide at least 2 points of positive feedback on the TP relating to a custom sale or trade. (These can be the same as the 5 points above, just as long as they are related to a custom transaction.)
ForExperienced skill level: You must also provide at least 5 points of positive feedback relating to a custom sale or trade. (These can be the same as the 5 points above, just as long as they are related to a custom transaction.)

Threezie if Josiekat is happy to be your mentor that's fine by us. Most people wouldn't have a mentor to hand which is why we say will join you up with one.

i'd like to, but im not sure if i will be able to when the time comes to start it. i have never missed one before and im sad that i wont be doing it this year. not sure if i will be working or getting ready to move. i will have to think about it. if only there was more time and more interests. it seems those who have the same skill level as me wont be able to join.

I'd love to join the Intermediate level but I'd need a mentor. I haven't sold any customs, and I've only put up 3 that I've made. I do have two more customs I just need to photograph that I will be putting up shortly. I AM over 18 though, actually 18 X 2 and you'll come close to my age.

Edit: Oops, I actually have made 5 customs. Forgot about the 2 McD ponies. Not sure if they count.

I really want to, but I just don't think I can. I've been working a lot more (which is good for my bank account), and I have many customs I need to finish for others and myself. I will gladly mentor, though, as already agreed upon.
