I have a near complete collection of mommy charms i'm thinking of selling...

I have all the 'normal' ones but Paint a Picture, so thats 19

All are minty with no cancer (actually ONE might, the rest dont)

Plus i have powder puff charm and the pixie charm with clip attachment, so 21 altogether.

I'd probably want to sell all in one go, worth? I must have spent at least $200 on them...

I think it depends on who's buying at the moment. I know I've spent anywhere from $6-$18 each on my Mommy Charms. I think if you found a buyer, around $200+ would be very resonable for the set. The problem may be finding someone who needs them all and is willing to buy them all at once. I know Ashlyne had a whole set on Ebay last fall in a terrific case plus the pamphlet and it didn't meet reserve the first time around (I'm not sure if she relisted as I didn't search later.)

Good luck on selling them! They are so adorable!

yeah i have the pamphlet too, from what i remember though, ashlynes were duplicates she had, and whilst her collection ones were perfect a lot of those ones she sold were flawed... but she can confirm that :)

I can't remember what I sold the lot for. I think it was around $150 but it may not have even been that much. But yes, several of them were very flawed. I think you should at least get $200 for an excellent condition set of charms especially if Powder Puff is included. It's such a hard set to put together that it's worth spending $10+ for each charm just to get so many at once. I would definitely put a reserve on it though.

If i could get that its be great, just need to get pics if the interested parties pull out :)

*pokes head in* I won Ashlyne's set - it was about $100 and included an extra, I think it was Powder Puff but I could be wrong, I know that I have 2 that weren't a part of the original 20. As was said before, it can be tough to get someone who needs the whole set. I already had 8 charms but thought that this was a great way to get a complete set, less hassle, and I'm sure it won't be hard selling/trading away my doubles. Most of them that I got were in much better condition than my originals, but I honestly haven't looked them over *that* closely recently. I think I got an awesome deal. As a seller, I'd want more. (no Ashlyne, I'm not gonna go pay you more now that I've said this, lol!) I'm going to post the pic of mine - part of what hooked me was how beautifully they're displayed.

Aw nuts! LOL Ya, you really did get a great deal. I know I spent more than that putting even that set together. At least the frame was on clearance :)

The problem with selling it as a set is that you only have so many people that collect them, then a smaller number of them that need that many to justify buying a full set, and then an even smaller number of people that can/would spend what it's really worth to get it. But a BIN of $200, maybe with a Best Offer option, might be the way to go.
