Well, I've seen lucky around the boards (and recently met IRL at the Fair!) for a number of years and I was excited to get paired with her for the FIRST TIME EVAR on a swap!
lucky had a great list of Halloween 'likes' that was fairly similar to my own. It wasn't hard to come up with an idea! She had dark fairies, the celtic harvest celebration, and radioactive/toxic and I kind of rolled that all up into this custom!
lucky also makes no secret of her favorite colors (purple and green) so the color scheme was no problem! I dyed a purple diva pose into a deeper shade and used purple, black, and green as hair colors.
Moonlit Shadow is a dark fairy/witch/vampire pony with a celtic cross (as close as I could get at Hobby Lobby, anyway). She has a painted corset because I'm not quite awesome enough to sculpt one but I like how it turned out! Next time, I'm making the "fabric" design bigger because painting all those little bats took forever! She had to have socks kind of like Wind Whistler there on top of your screen!
I've never done hair falls before but a couple of customizers do such cool ones that I thought this would be a good opportunity to try! The neon green plastic is the 'radioactive' part of lucky's list.
I had fun with this one and I'm glad you like her, lucky!
Here's Moonlit Shadow and Echo, her bat friend!
