So in the same vein as the most expensive G3s thread, I thought I'd start this one!

So what do you guys think are top ten most expensive G1 girls? Minus Rapunzel, Mimic, and Nirvanas/Foreign girls. (Since those are pretty obvious.)

I just want to know what to be on the lookout for. ;)

other wee bit costly ponies

...I think Diamond Dreams (MGR) is quite an expensive pony ($30-$35?). Sparkler (MGR) is not as cheap as most other ponies too ($25-30?)... Then you have the So Softs Taffy ($50?), Twilight ($25-30?), Angel ($25-30?) and Bangles ($25-30?). NM conditioned CF aren't as cheap as they used to be either ($10-20?)... The mail order versions of the Sparkle Ponies are also not cheap ($20-30?).

If you are looking for REALLY expensive mail orders, you should try the mommy & baby set (over $200 for both), Scribbles and Dabble ($150 each at least), Baby Sugarcake and Baby Gametime ($150 each at least). ;) The TAF Baby ponies aren't cheap, either... ($40-50?)

I don't know how I am doing with the prices. I base them on NM or VGC ponies. I haven't bought G1 ponies in a looooong time so please feel free to correct me. :)

Mail orders like taf babies, mommy and baby, tux, satin and lace. Seaponies with shell go for a whole lot too.

Lil' Cupcake and Sweetcake haven't been mentioned, but they used to be ridiculous
Certain borthers, especially with their accessories also seem to run in the higher range
(these questions are hard! I find most my ponies in thrift shops, so I think they're all expensive!)

Let's not forget Munchy (the carrniverous pony) and TAF Night Glider. Cha Cha the Llama can get pricey. Cool Breeze. Red Roses can get pricey.

Sky Rocket

re

Oakly the moose isn't cheap. I have been trying to get one of him for years in a price range that didn't make me cringe. Needless to say....I still don't have one. I think I will have to bite the bullet and just get him soon. I feel silly having over 700 ponies and a whole pony room yet no Oakly!

Lil Alley Cat

A totally MINTY Moondancer and Glory can get expensive as well - since most are in grubby condition with bad symbols.

Luckily for me, Cha Cha the llama is one of my childhood ponies that managed to survive my mother's great pony purges;)

Sweet Scoops is also a pretty expensive pony too.

Also the UK families, berrytown and those yellow ones. And the Mountain boys.
