I know this topic has been done before but i havent seen it in a while...

whats the most unusual spot you found a pony (second hand, but hey if you found anything weird in the store too, feel free to post!!)

Mine is pretty interesting...

I explore abandoned houses/buildings as a hobby and in the LAST room I looked, which was pretty much empty except for some random small toys... I was walking... and low and behold... at my feet was a petite pony!!!

hmm well I found one in a thrift shop, which NEVER happens. few garage sale finds. once in awhile I might see some G1 ponies in some kid's toy box. I figured it belonged to the parent or the grandma saved them from a long time ago. sometimes I'll find them in stores that don't really even sell toys.

I found a Firefly in my psychiatrist's office once o_O;; She let me have it after I rambled about it for a little while. (Of course I gave her a new pony in exchange!)

I found a breezie not so long ago in the street. I was in complete shock just to find a pony lying there on the ground. It was one I didn't have as it was one of the bonus ones.

It made my day!

I once found a Moonstone in the remains of a burned down house. I was young, and had gone down there w/ my grandma (it was one of her rental homes), and I remember it reeked of smoke forever... I don't know what happened to her, though. :(

My sister found a Baby Tiddly Winks alongside the road once when we were kids and she brought it home for me - made my day, as we didn't get along very well back then. :)

I have found a McDonald's pony in my Wal-Mart parking lot. Unfortunately she had already been run over and I couldn't save her since the plastic was cracked all the way through and all the glue I had at home wouldn't hold her together :(

I was in an AC Moore craft store and there was a pony sitting by herself on a shelf. I squealed and ran over and put her in my purse. I'm currently (and slowly) restoring and customizing her.

I found baby tic-tac-toe in a parking lot when I was little. Her front hoof has a black mark indentation on the front, but I still keep her in my collection because when I was young, I always thought of her as wanting to find me.

When I was 9 I was always at the library during the summer because we didn't have air conditioning. ;) Anyway, One day the librarian (who new I loved MLPs) Came up to me and said that there were a bunch of MLPs that had been in the lost and found box for over 3 months and told me I could have them. :) There was 7 ponies, I remember a Lemondrop and Blueberry baskets with no tail, A nice Skippity doo, BBE baby Sundance, Swirly wirly and I can't remember the either 2. I remember being so happy because at that time I didn't have very many ponies. I ran the 2 block home and excitedly showed them to my mom. We gave them a bath and my mom made tails out of yarn for Lemondrop and Bluberry basket. :) Ah such fond memories.

OK so I didn't find them, but it is the most unusual place I ever got ponies from.

I was at Spring Carlisle (a huge collector car swap meet and show in PA) and found a Sundance for sale. She was on a table with a bunch of old taillights. I wanted to buy her just to say "I found the only pony at Carlisle!" but the guy that owned the both was away. :(

Bonnie Bonnets

I found a Bonnie Bonnets (the one I still have actually) in a park when I was a child. I don't remember exactly where she was, but I want to say in the sandbox. More recently I was standing in line at the post office, and sitting there on the bottom of one of the shelves they use to display their stamps was a G1 MLP book. (My Little Pony and the Country Fair I believe). That was really weird. The pony in the park when I was a kid I can understand, because I'm sure some other kid just took her to the park and left her, but finding a 20 + year old book left abandoned on a shelf in a very recently built postoffice was strange. It was in great shape too. I wonder where it came from?

Wow that certainly is a strange place to find an old MLP item. Since you found it in a post office, I wonder if it fell out of a package some eBay seller was sending off? ;)
