This girlie was my first full repaint- not perfect by a long shot, but I kind of love her.
Her design was based on the horses in the RCMP's musical ride- dark brown or black horses- so she's darker than I'd normally want a pony to be (but they're so shiny!). The maple leaf on her butt is similar in design to the ones brushed into the real horses' hair, but this one's bigger and more MLP-ish.
I was going to sculpt a saddle, but I think she's fine the way she is- maybe if I do a sister for her I'll try that.
Oh... and her hair was generously donated by a second-hand Barbie doll
