My aunt is always going to yard sells, and she called me today and said she had found me a g1 pony that had leaves on her. Gusty. I went to pick her up. She was the SS Version, and She did not have a red stripe in her mane, and her head was still glued. I asked her where she got it and I went to that yard sell and talked to the women running it. I asked her if she originally came like this or she took out the stripe. She said she had got it for christmas when she was young that way. She even had proof, she went inside and got a photo album. There was her and MOC Gusty. No red stripe. Is there another reported without her stripe?

That's awesome! You can even see where the stripe would go! How weird! :eek:mg:

Weird! Guess she used her unicorn magic to skip that step at the hasbro factory! Good find!

Haha! That's Gusty for ya! The holes are there where the stripe is suppost to be at. Maybe Hasbro had trouble with the hairing part, or she could have been one of those that Hasbro sold to their workers as a test run? Whatever mightive happened, she is unique!

oh that is so neat, one of my tunefuls has has no purple strip of hair and she is sill glued as well.

I think someone else on the board has one without the stripe.... or maybe it was Ribbon... maybe they were out of red hair that day! ;-)

The woman who sold my aunt Gusty said she also had a Posey with a dark pink mane and tail. But sadly, she was not selling that one.

That looks like my old gusty! as kid I didn't like her red stripe and I would pick at it one hair at time until all the red was cleanly off the pony.
btw it was a non SS gusty.

Cool! What a great find. Very unique.

I got a Sky Flier from e-bay one time that was missing her white stripe but had all her red mane. Had the holes where the white stripe would have gone, too. But being secondhand, I don't know if it was pulled out intentionally, or just good ol' Hasbro quality control.

It's cool that you know that yours came like that on the card.
