Hi Pony's; So nice to meet so many of you at the Fair. Here's a recap of my Fair experience, including my Loot, and my Favorite part of the Fair!
Hi Everyone; Last year I went PonySerk/PonyBankRupt at the Fair, so this year I vowed to be more reasonable in my spending. Well what ended up happening is I spent everything I had to spend in about the first 1/2 hour and had to quit looking. So I've been green with envy at seeing all the great pony's that everyone found! Here are the treasures I did get before I forced myself to quit, lol!
The whole fabulous lot! Big thanks to all the fabulous pony's that sold me these beauty's! PS. There were several things that didn't make the pic, thanks to KarRedRoses for Fluttawings and 2 Unicorn blind boxes, thanks to Drusilla for a Pony folder and notebook, and to Dizzy for a NightmareMoon badge! I'm sure I'm forgetting more, lol!
The bushwoolie, 2006 Fair Pony, Ponyville, Belle Disneywear and awesome ribbon were my prizes from winning a round of The Price is Right. Thanks to Mary and Summer for organizing a super fun game! Scrumptious was a gift from Clipper, I bought Dazzleglow from MLPWhitney, and Pearly Baby Moondancer from AppleJackGirl! So nice to see everyone again!
My awesome DB was bought from Gypsy, my amazing custom was by Whippetluv, the Argie Jewelry box was from Jenn, and the rest of the pony's were from TraderTif! Look at all that awesome Blue, lol!
I really wanted a custom, and when I saw this one, I knew I'd found the one! I just love her - Whippetluv named her G1 Nightmare Moon, and I'm so glad I was able to snatch her up! As has been mentioned Whippetluv had some incredible work for sale, what a talent! I'm thrilled to have one of her customs!
The fair was all the way round awesome, but my favorite part was dressing up my daughter and husband for the Costume Contest. Linden was Lavender Satin n Lace, and Daddy Chris escorted her as Tux. When Linden first came back into the room after getting her costume on, most people were gathered taking pictures of the group in costume, and when they saw her, they let out a huge "AWWWW" cause she was just so cute (even if I do say so myself LOL). Hearing the reaction of the crowd was just so awesome! And then when she and Chris won the big prize, the People's Choice Award for the Costume Contest, that was just the icing on the cake! Linden was SO Thrilled. The funny thing was that I didn't realize there was a People's Choice award and so after they gave out the judges top two costume awards to Applejack and Pinkie Pie, I assumed the costume awards were over, and so I had just finished telling her that winning wasn't the important thing, that just having fun participating was the best part. And she was really good and said, yes, that she had had fun and she was OK about not winning. But after saying all that, it was just too awesome to have them announce her as the big winner of the People's Choice award (thank you voting ponies, lol)! She was so happy to get her big prize winning ribbon! You may have seen her in some other people's pics, but here are a couple cute ones we took. Enjoy!
Lastly, my daughter bought these at the Fair, they are super cute. Anyone have any idea what they are. They are about the size of a Ponyville pony, and they say SOMA CHINA on the bottom of the tummy. Thanks for any help!
