My husband has been VERY good about letting me have my little obsession with ponies, and while I was rearranging my porcelains the other day he said, "You know, I think I have a pony in a drawer at my father's house..." I was skeptical, because he couldn't describe it very well and can only spot the fakie about 4 out of 10 times at flea markets, but he's learning. :) Anyway, he went out of his way to find this thing for me, and it turns out it's a Mommy Charm! According to him, when he was very young he was at a restaurant with his family and he found it on the ground. He thought it was cute, and secretly kept it in a drawer for about 14 years. It now has a front row seat on my pony shelf. He's such a good boy. :)

Also, he would like to know how much the Mommy Charm Pretty Please is worth. I'm not selling it, he was just curious.

Awww! That is the cutest story! And what a great memory to have after 14 years. Sorry I dunno about the price check though, but I just had to comment cuz your story made me smile this morning. Now if only my fiance had a pony in a drawer for me somewhere....

aww that's so sweet! I'm not great at value of mommy charms (though I'm currently seeking some hehe). On ebay I've seen them go for around $5-$10 but there's always exceptions.

That is sooo cute!! :) Congrats on your new charm! :)

That's great your husband remembered it and gave it to you! How sweet.
Mommy charms in excellent condition go for about $10 each.

LOL, that is so cute! Men are so much more sensitive than they usually let on. That is so sweet of him! :D

Aw, how sweet. ^-^ My hubby said he had Ponies when he was young (his mother wanted a girl and had two boys). *Giggles*

He is cute, isn't he? It's like having a husband and a little boy all rolled into one. :)

He can name every pony in our room (since I sold my collection to marry him, there aren't many, but it's still sweet), and he knows what most of the pony abbreviations mean, ie BBE, NSS, SHS. He gets all excited if I get a new porcelain in the mail, too.
