I've been looking and so far I can not find any site that will tell me exactly what My Little Pony Animation Cels go for. I am wanting to sell them for what they are worth and none of the cels sites I have gone to have anything on My Little Pony Production Cels. They are all anime cells or Disney cels! I couldn't find anything on the Hasbro site either. So could someone please help me? I have a lot of them that I'd like to sell but I don't know what they go for and I am not about to just set a price without research.

So if anyone could please let me know something, it would help!
 
Depends on the cell. If it is a key frame cell then it's worth more, if it's 'filler', then not so much. Is this from My Little Pony Tales or the original MLP cartoon series? There are tons of 'Tales' cells on eBay that haven't been moving, but I don't see cells from the original cartoon series too often. Someone at the fair this year was charging over $100 dollars for key frame cells from 'Tales', but I don't think he sold many. That is a ridiculous price IMO. I would pay $10 or less for a cell I liked. You could start lower and see what offers you get.

and i walked off with one of his cells for free from the swap table. admittedly i think it's a tween frame but still.

i guess you'd have to have a frame someone wanted cause there isn't a huge market for them i guess.

At the MLP Fair in Vegas this year, there was a guy selling MLP animation cels for $20 bucks each.

The one I got is an original drawing (NOT a photocopy: i.e.: the background is all a hand drawn pencil drawing.)
 
I got a cel for $10 from the fair. There were some that were priced at $70 and up at the Fair last month.

Okay, The cels that I have are My Little Pony Tales cels and I have a LOT of them. I'm going to lay them out tonight and take pictures of them. Most of them do not have backgrounds though.

So, does selling them for $10 each sound reasonable? I hate to be annoying but I am trying to make sure that I am being fair. :oops:
